I used to enjoy SRS WOW on my previous PPC : this app is fantastic to bring a much better sound while listening music.
Owner of an omnia, I never managed to have SRS WOW working (tried 1.2.1 and 1.5.1), and modified cabs for the omnia never worked on mine and according to reports do freeze the ppc (or need to stop screen auto shutdown) :(

So I was very eager to test this R2VS.
But the sound using this app is lightyears from SRS. In fact, I even prefer the unmodified sound !

By the way, no need to have this app to use and configure the native R2VS sound on every app (with less config possibilities). You just have to select a sound config in the samsung player (first button labelled 'norm' when not active), and the setting is used in the other apps like S2P & Windows Media player.

Well, still waiting for a successful SRS cab for my omnia... :(

never mind got it to work with kaiser 120/tilt, sweet I like it great, only some reason only works with wired headphones, not bluetooth ones, I got the S9, Thanks anyway

Just now tried in my HTC Wizard but don't work. No change in music or sound. :(

Is this releated to app. I am using audio manager.

FYI; SRS WOW works fine in my device.

Yes but after softreboot, The sound gone off. No music/sound from audio manager or wmp or etc via hardware speakers or ear jack :(

goto registry and in HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev in "Flags" make the "0" to a "2" as a decimal or hex "10002" then softreboot

You wrote that you have srs wow installed already then you need to change "Dll" ="SRSDriver.dll" and "OutputDevice" = "SRSDriver.dll" and that way both app should work at the sametime

no, everything is fine. This problem is because low memory in HTC Wizard. This app need more ram memory. :(

When I will be playing music, the OS becomes fully slow and its not possible to do other works.

Awesome application, running perfectly on my Samsung Omnia using plug in headphones and bluetooth headphones.
This is a must have on the Omnia improves the sound quality out of site in my opinion.

hello I have an omnia and used this soft with S2Pplayer the sound was good but lower unfortunately it slow so much my omnia so i stop to use it : UC used to be up to 70% !!!! is it nomal ? or pb with S2P?


PS / I still dont understand why moderators dont want omnia on this forum......like most of the omnia owner i use to have htc.... when they where no other wm device

Hi, thanks for posting this. Despite the resolution not being for the phone it works on my HD. No more working around SRS's bugs, gonna test all sound functions but so far so good. Using the 3D Sound/Surround sounds great accross my BT headset. Very happy, be nice to get a proper skin but good enough.

Edit: Bummer....cuts sound when making phone calls. Gonna play in the registry.

wanted to ask something abt this version of r2vs, it s using wm5 dll version and a lot of people are using it on omnia i900 which has wm6.1 as standard os. i also saw soem wm6.1 for i780 or i770 and if i am not mistaken, they have the native r2vs for wm6.1 in them. is it possible to make use of the wm6dll driver from the i770/i780 and implement it for the omnia?

I finally got a working equalizer. Samsung_R2VS_i900.cab. This is a equalizer for Samsung devices, but got it working on my TYTN II.
R2VS 3D Sound, Equalizer, 5.1Ch Effect sound enhancement (just like SRS WOW).
1. Install
2. Regedit HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev
"OutputDevice" =Wavedev.dll 3
"Flags" =10002 in hex
3. Soft reset. .

R2VS to install the omnia II is misconfigured and does not sound by any form or the reproductive or calls or the doorbell, said he had problems with the touchplayer. Someone knows how to fix this problem?

I tried R2VS on my i780 and unluckily it doesn't work. The interface seemed to be working good; I've chosen my favourite settings but any effect hasn't applied. Resetting device (I remember doing it after installing some sound hacking softwares, it was one way to make them working sometimes) is not either a solution.
What a shame, this software hit a home run, it's either useful or easy, too bad it's not suitable for my PDA :(
