No app of any kind made for the iPhone will run on Windows Mobile, nor will any Windows Mobile app run on the iPhone.

There are a lot of great games available for WinMo, and even some handheld console game emulators, for those who are never satisfied. I have over a dozen games on my phone, including many simple/basic games like yatzhee, uno, solitaire, video poker, hearts, and freecell, and many more interesting games like space trader, mah jhong, tetris, and adventure (text-based RPG like Zork).
When I need a serious game fix on the road, I run my Sega Genesis emulator, and play games like Afterburner, Battletech, Road Rash, Super Monaco GP, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Emulators really kill my battery though, so I usually play these while I'm on a charger.
Also, here's something Apple wishes you didn't know (but now you will):
You don't have to pay for any of these games (or in an act of dubious legality, download them with your friend's login). They are all available free and legally on the Internet. You need only to look for them.
On a separate note, what is the fascination with iPhone?
It's mostly claiming credit for doing things that we were doing on WinMo phones long before iPhone was even a tech blog rumor (downloading apps straight to the phone, touch-screen interfaces). It's made a few minor innovations (read: multi-touch) that everyone has latched onto as though they had reinvented the wheel. Ironically, the one thing the iPhone is worst at being is an actual phone.
The current batch of home-brewed ROMS for our Wizards are quite robust (some even include a nice batch of games...see CRACING's CR86 Touch HD in the Wizard Mobile 6 board). Many of them will remind you of the high-quality appearance that the iPhone first made a splash with, but now everyone (even LG....::Yawn:: ) is cloning...without resorting to being copycats.
