GPS on Kaiser

I was wondering if there was a free GPS program for Kaiser that uses the internal GPS system and doesn't require a GPRS or active Internet connection? I'm sorry in advance if this question has been asked, I just can't find much about it :)

there are free programs but there are none that will show a map in the background for free with no GPRS connection that I am aware of. The rest record the gps path and save it.
