No sim and network problem

I have htc touch cruise, and i have one problem. It was working everything fine, firtsly. But suddenly, the network went down, and it said no sim card inserted.

Hi, i had seems problem, in Italy we have a tel. company (wind). I have changed my old sim card 64kb with a new sim card 128kb, u need to change sim card with a sim of new technology 128 or 64kb, the problem is gsm protocol. After this, change your settings network in gsm, no auto mode and u can see whay u don't have any problems...
