GPRS not working after upgrade to new HTC rom

I have a problem with my HTC Diamond. It was working very good with a cooking rom but after upgrade with the new original version from HTC don´t work GPRS connection.

I tested first with hard reset and second ,changing differents radios and spl in the way to found an answer for my problem but I didn´t found it.

I was checking the connection data from Orange calling him and calling HTC support directly. I thinked that it was wrong but I saw all was correct.

I created the connection manually first but it didn't work. After it, I erased all the connection, then I did a hard-reset and finally I created a new connection with automatically HTC Connection setup chosing Spain-Orange, but it did´t work either.

I was looking for this problem in the forum and I tested to flash again the mobile with the update 2.03 rom and after it made a hard-spl and write another radio without success.

I tryed too with Wifi Profiles cab like I read in another thread without success either.

I have not installed any program like "nodata" to cut the gprs connection.

I get always the same pop-up. "..... can't connect... unkown reason....."




Please Is there any way to fix it???.

I had exactly the same problem immediately after upgrading to the 2.03 rom, it made me crazy I tried everything, I even thought having disabled gprs with no-data the day before the upgrade screwed something up but in the end I called my provider (Telia-Sweden) and they re-activated the gprs data account and it's been working fine since then :)

Very weird but I'm glad I made the call.

Thanks owziee for your quickly answer, :) . I was speaking with Orange to re-activated the data service and they did it. Before it I went to an Orange distribuitor shop to upgrade my sim-card for if it could be an incompatibilty between the phone with the card

New sim-card. New re-activated service and it still not working. :(



HTC told me that it could be by a corrupted data in the WM and they think it can be fixed flashing again the phone to update it in a service center.

I was thinking about it and sincerelly I have a dude for if I have used the correct spl and radio flashing the phone.

I made hard-spl sometimes. I used differents files but always unsigned spl.

At this moment I am trying "1.93 signed" without success.


The file I use to update the phone is:
_HTC Touch Diamond_MRII_RUU_Diamond_HTC_SPA_2.03.412.2_Radio_ Signed_Diamond_52.51.25.26_1.09.25.23_Ship



Please, What could be the way to fix it??

I still thinking about my steps....

Uhmmm, could it be by the method used for unlock it???

I remember that I unlock it but I press to write CID to 00000 too.

Is there any method to calculate the CID to write again for it is the problem???


I don´t know what I must to do. I have tested some minutos ago the htc rom 1.93 version without success.
