Ita internet vodafone connection

Hi guys from two days i activated on my sim the option "vodafone internet data pack", but no one (vodafone or htc) khows how to configure s730 to surf.

on the web i found this configuration, who posted it say it work, but not on my wings!

i'm sure for the apn and the proxy and port ... but not for the option "si connette da", "si connette a"...

Any solution ? thanks!

A strange thing !

Today 'I've performed an hard reset.
With this operation I' ve hoped to configure automatically the phone on the vodafone setting.

Because i've noticed if you insert a new sim in a "virgin" configuration phone, the phone ask you if you want to configure it on the sim configuration... but .... today .... the phone never ask me to perform the new sim setting.

Now.. to install the CAB file posted by sergiopi I've connected my phone to PC and started the sync... and surprise.. the phone asked me if i want to configure the phone automatically with vodafone italia setting.

Then at the end I have not installed the sergiopi's file cab

I say "yes".... and now all work !!!

Oggi ho eseguito un hard reset sul telefonino.
Ho sperato che con questa operazione il telefono importasse automaticamente le impostazioni di rete vodafone.

Questo perchè installando una nuova sim su una configurazione vergine, in genere il telefono chiede se si vogliono impostare i parametri per la connessione, per l'operatore in uso.
Ma oggi il non c'è stato verso che me lo chiedesse !

Adesso ho connesso il telefono al pc ed ho avviato il sync per copiare il cab di sergiopi... e miracolo il telefono mi chiede se volessi importare la configurazione vodafone... E TUTTO FUNZIONA.

Quindi non ho installato il file di sergio.

Sergio grazie per il tuo aiuto , mi consigli comunque di installarlo?

Use the .cab only if you have problems with the default configuration....

please post the internet configuration.....yiu use wap or web connection,i've istalled the sergiopi cab but it's like the connection wizard i had before....he set the wap-web-mms connection but start automatically with the web....and i have the wap connection free...help me please!!:confused:

per favore posta i parametri di configurazione.....ma ti connetti al wap o al web?in pratica ho istallato il file di sergiopi ma è come il connection wizard....mi imposta wap web e mms ma nn so come farlo connettere al wap va in automatico in web(e nn utilizza la promozione che ho per il wap e dunque pago!:eek:)....va in automatico in web....help:(

Edit the web connection configuration and change the APN from web.omnitel.it to wap.omnitel.it

I have a vodafone connection. I m not able to use gprs on my HTC S730.
I have the settings of the gprs but still i m facing this problem.
