Having used the Softbank X01HT for almost 2 years, this is the first time this icon appears (top right hand corner, red arrow pointing.) Could anyone give a clue? Many thanks

I remember this question being asked a couple of years ago. No definite answer was given, but speculation was that it might be a carrier specific icon to show that video calling is available.

Maybe by now someone can confirm this or otherwise?

I get that icon when I am on 3G (which means Video Calling is available) AND I have forwarded my calls to another number. As soon as I remove call forwarding, the icon disappears. This icon is also not there when I am on Edge and call forwarding is enabled.

I haven't made or received video calling in my life :-)

Call forwarding, yes. But after cancelling, it's still there. After several call-forward / cancel cycles, it disappeared finally. Maybe it's a small funny stuff.

Thanks all.

I've never used video calling, only recently I've found that there is an option in my hermes for forwarding video calls (not voice calls) to another number. If canceling this video call forwarding, the icon never appears again.
