I have invocation to some of you - ROM cookers, because I have zero knowledge about ROM cooking. Could you please insert library below into ROM instead original one? Thanks a lot. I have WPA2/AES issues and it is definitely software problem. Replacement of wifi driver should be a good step forward.

Where did you get that driver?
I am using WPA2 and AES and I have no problems! Are you using WPA2-Personal or WPA2-Enterprise? How long is your password?

I've got that driver from fully working device (don't know exact name, but some T-Mobile stuff) with same wifi chip.
I can't connect to "eduroam" network with WPA2-Enterprise/AES + PEAP auth (with Radius server). It crashes to black display almost immediately before login dialog is displayed. That means, it is not name or pass related problem. I have also new mainboard, so it can't be hardware issue. WPA-Enterprise/TKIP works flawlessly, but when WPA2 is present, it override WPA and crashes.
But, when I have poor wifi signal (1 of 4), I can connect with no problem.
Oh, and I almost forgot, it crashes with every ROM including 6 and 6.1 original and custom ones.

Mh, I am using WPA2-Personal and not Enterprise, that may be the problem you have, but I don't know a Enterprise network, I could try it with.
I'll try some stuff with the driver and tell you how it goes!

Looks like the Rose and the Shadow 2009 are using the same WiFi-Chip, the Rose driver is a couple of days newer than the one you uploaded and the Shadow driver is even newer, but it's a pre-productions ROM, so I don't know if it's stable!
EDIT: Uuups, the driver from the Rose is actually the newest (November 2008)!

Well, it is quite difficult to simulate eduroam's WPA2-enterprise/AES at home. You must have some stuff like radius server, configurable switches and other... I tried to run freeradius, but after couple hours of reading manuals, I surrended, because I couldn't understand that.

Thanks a lot. I owe you a beer :).

I have to disappoint you :(
WiFi doesn't work with the newer drivers. It doesn't load on startup and then you can't activate it. I guess it's because of the newer chipsets. The WiFi chip has to be connected to the main chipset and they are different from the Vox', so the driver doesn't know what to do!

That is bad. But I was expecting it little bit. Well, I must put up with that :(. But thanks a lot once again.
