According to Endgadget Mobile (http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/03/31/microsoft-announces-windows-marketplace-partners-tweaked-polici/), Microsoft has the following hardware specs for Windows Mobile 6.5:
Microsoft's issued a clarification regarding upgrades from 6.1 to 6.5: devices that are already out in the marketplace with a minimum of 128MB of RAM and a 400MHz processor or better are theoretically capable of being upgraded
That means that the Hima will be officially supported.

Doesn't mean it'll be officially supported by an official ROM however (i would be very surprised if it received an upgrade). Slow devices can run WM6.5 too like the Wizard.

Of course not. But it will mean that the hardware itself is capable of running the OS at an acceptable speed. (Which the betas available now does not... ;) )

I am not sure, but I think, I do remember having heard something about five running WM6.5 ROM, in at least three or four different languages.
As I am an old man (compared with guys like ather90), so it might be age stubbornness to keep my old 6.1Ger ROM, but I do remember, that on my second device 6.5Ger was running fine, fast and stable, as I turned it on the last time. Sorry, for my dementia is bad, but I do not remember if it was yesterday or two seconds ago.
No joke, I thought the released WM6.5 are no beta, indeed they are first class, although I donīt really need them. Some features are nice, OK, but not as important enough to switch system.

What works:

i had a program like the cover flow on an ipod but for pictures it was great!

I suspect he hasn't joined his ExtROM with his storage area, thereby giving him almost 30mb in total.
Maybe he can check out the link when he gets the chance (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332215).

You did not mention what version ROM you installed. I have sundream's ROM and I can honestly say that it rocks. No problem whatsover that you mentioned. Scrolling is very fast and most bugs in WM5.x and WM6.1 were fixed.
I give it a 5/5 two thumbs waaaay up!

Watch this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=490886
Thread opened by ather90 to share this 6.5 rom, because our skills in sundreams native language are too bad to download from his site.
You can choose if you would prefer the English or the Chinese version.
There is a good German Version by efsane too, it up to you!

The official start of Windows Mobile 6.5 is 05/11/09 !!!
Congratulations to all those heroes, who made the Hima more than up to date.
Although I will keep my self made 6.1 ROM, I think, you all are better than the Microsoft guys. They even don't release it with the Honeycomb design you all use! :D:p;):o
