This thread will be update all tsk theme for the OS WM 6.5, QVGA screen supports only.
How to make a basic theme for WM6.5 ? please read in post 2

- Download the attachment and use winrar for uncompress on PC
- Copy tsk file into PPC/Device/My Documents
- Tap Start/Settings/Today to select file name then tap OK
.....touch your screen to see and feel ;) :)

To make a theme of your own, follow the instructions below:
- Use WinCE CAB Manager to open any theme that has.
- Delete all Reg. and images, then go to change the images that you like
- Size and image format: stwater_240_320.jpg and stwater_320_240.jpg
- Next, you need to Import Reg then saved with any name and the file format *.tsk

Use the reg file attached below, only for QVGA screen.

If anyone has any ideas for creative theme please tell me,i'm very ready to learn :), thanks.

one thing to note, some of the 6.5 effects (highlighting, and even possibility the blue menus) are enabled from the .tsk theme files. So having 6.5 compatible ones listed would be great. :D

My suggestion though; new themes now incorporate registry settings and graphics used for top and bottom bar (transparencies etc.), slider, top and bottom arrow, selection bar etc. Had they been included in your themes or just wallpaper background?

I just realized that the new WM is rather on a radical approach to those we used to be in previous 6.1 - unlimited creativity.

NICE BROTHER glad you decided to do this, i'll upload some here in a bit. I DID NOT CREATE THESE IMAGES, i only put them in a .tsk for people to use on their phones. these themes have been done for titanium, i've not tried them on anything else.

back to htchomesetting.xml in manila times, a utility like M2DC that can rewrite cpr file is awaited :D as well as start menu icons are controlled by startmenu cpr file, whilst the icons are start_icon_*.png. This also can be hacked. Last section is lockscreen cpr, 3 dll's are still copy protected up to recent build.

any suggestions on what program to use to make those changes?
If we take a look at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today, some keys are there to define the look of theme. These keys are Bubble, Menu, MessageBox, ScrollBar, SoftKeyBar, ...etc. They are all referring to the PNG files being used in the theme today. So I guess when we selecting themes, registry settings are written to these keys and those change the look of UI components. PNG files are easy to create based on currently available sample ...then you know the rest ..... Just choose what UI components we'd like to change then import that registry setting into theme we create.

after downloaded you must unzip, next copy the *. tsk file to storage card (or My Documents folder of the Device,not need copy to the windows folder)
I tried it on the Joshkoss's rom, it work fine for me :D

Ok, so, can I not take a premade .tsk file that's in this thread and simply import my own picture files into it and resave?

I've renamed my two picture files stwater_240_320 and stwater_320_240 but I keep getting blank backgrounds. I double-checked the .reg file w/ what shows up in the WinCE and they match and the file size of my .tsk is about the same size as other .tsks but yeah...no luck.

And ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

It's driving me nuts. I have about 5 themes to contribute but no sense sharing them if they don't show up :)

Ok, so I finally got one to work BUT now the size is wrong. I made one 240x320 and the other 320x240 (and yes, I assigned them to the proper screen orientation) but the top and bottom bars aren't transparent like the other themes. Very possible it's a reg issue. If anyone knows the answer then that'd be appreciated. Until then I guess I'll play w/ the sizes until I shrink them to fit :D

You use the spb screen to capture screenshot with the hard button (download here (http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-software/imageer/download.html))
Next you upload it onto a page in the store free images (sample http://www.imageshack.us/ )...then paste the link to URL assigned (Insert Image) in your post.

I was just browsing the Hermes forum, as my GF has my old 8925.

I notices a number of wm6.5 tsk files and they had great icons on the Top Bar, for WiFi and battery, etc.

If I knew what I was looking for, I could easily search. But since I don't know what I'm looking for, I don't know where to find it.

Can anyone help me find the files? And will they run on my Tilt?

Make sure the select all color check boxes for the 6.1 theme in ThemeGenCE & set the colors. If you don't than you'll get the grey. As for the check boxes, I don't think they can be changed. I may be wrong.

No problem, The colors aren't hex values in mine so it'll be easier to edit. I need to redo my newest Red & Black theme. Realized it has that grey bug sometimes.

That grey bug is a pain! I removed this reg key, and it seems to work so far, but I havent test that on many builds, just a couple till now!

Can anybody please make the rockandrepublic black.tsk for WM6.5.x for me. PLEASE, I've been looking for this theme for so long I can't remember. All those available theme works for WM6.5 but not on 6.5.x. Some Buttons at the bottom is invisible or pushed button shows no image, this kind of problem I'm having with all these themes.

I'm new in this xda world. but i know how themes works. changing *.png files, changing registries etc.

Can anyone help?
