is there a way to make a hardware keyboard on the diamond?

There is actually this very technical procedure that you can do.

You first gotta cut your diamond in half, then take a G1 and cut the keyboard out. You glue the two pieces together and you will have a GDiamond.

where precisely do i cut, and with what?

You can take a butter knife and apply hard pressure to what you think would be the middle of the phone. When you hear a few cracks and the screen breaking, you know your on the right path. Good luck.
