i780 and internet connection

Hi all,

I just got my new i780 but there is no pre-set internet connection under "setting -> connections -> connections", so I created "My Internet" with the correct "assess point" setting for my operator.

However, the default application such as IE and MSN or Windows Life do not know how to identify "My Internet" as default connection and those applications cant get online.

But for other connection such as email, and the bulit in Opera Browser, I can set my default connection to "My Internet" and it works.

I even tried to set "setting -> connections -> browser connection" but there is no "My Internet" to choose, and the "auto detect" doesnt work.

May I know if there is a way to set in the registry so that i can set the default connection as "My Internet"?

maybe is rom problem. before i have internet problem.
change C4 rom
msn , explorer just ok. good luck :)

I have same issue and I am using same version of ROM.

I find the solve. The issue come from the auto configuration program. DON'T use the auto network configuration.

Step to solve:
1. Hard reset the device
2. skip the auto configuration (if you click "ok" when it prompt you to enable auto configure, you need to hard reset again.)
3. configure the network by manual.
