high mem/low mem ?

hate to sound like a n00b but what is high mem/low mem how much of a difference is there and how do you set it

This comes from nuekernel (search - No2Chem goto nuerom.com) He created a method to remove the camera from the ROM, thereby freeing up about 6MB of RAM. Not all ROMs have this funcationality in them and it has to be cooked in. If you search on PPCGeeks.com under the Titan forum you be enlighted more.

I remember seeing a ROM on here recently that appeared to use the nueKernel and also came with a special version of the camera that would work in the low memory mode. Anyone know what ROM that may have been?

Is no2chem's nueROM carrier specific? I've been considering trying it (I donated to him awhile ago) but can't find whether it's carrier specific or not.
