i see most of you guys don't use them and exclude them from your roms... so i gotta ask, are they slow? buggy? or why do you guys not use them?
i have hotmail, so i kinda need it...
but of course if there is a better alternative, then i would love to know!
neways if there is no better program, would any of you know where i could download the installation files for these? because at the microsoft site you have to input your phone number to have them send you a text with the link...
but i think as we all know, cricket somehow blocks messages being sent from sites and so on...:(
FYI,
i use a Verizon VX6800 on Cricket
no2chem 2.47
radio 3.75
ROM: Ryan's Cricket "Heavy" ROM v1.1

If you just need access to your email via push this should do the trick. Windows Live is great if you like to sync for contacts but for just email use POP3 instead if you prefer.
Windows Live POP3 Settings
POP server: pop3.live.com (Port 995)
POP SSL required? Yes
User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
SMTP server: smtp.live.com (Port 25)
Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
TLS/SSL required? YesWindows Live POP3 Settings

I may have to try that! Does the POP3 service allow for HTML rendering of emails, or does it convert everything to Plain Text?

How are you doing this, I try to enter but it will not even let. I select "setup email", then enter my address and password, then it redirects me to Live.com?

You can fool the setup by entering jibberish on the first screen and the correct data later.

well that doesn't work, it seems a lot of people are saying it won't work since cricket is gay and has a proxy that only lets u used port 80, so does ANYONE know how to get it to work?? or how i can change the reg settings on the app to make it use port 80, or anything?

cricket is gay
I didn't realize Cricket was gay! Wow, I had always suspected, but never knew. Did it tell it's parents?
That must be the source of all your problems. Homosexual companies are really the plague of technology and society. Pretty soon, they will be demanding mergers with other companies, but we can't have that! If we allow gay companies to merge, then what's to stop a gay company from merging with a duck, turtle or goat? Someone alert Fox News quickly!
Please don't use hate speech here.
