Until we have a HardSPL for the Treo Pro, we can only hope for an official ROM from Palm.

it is easy to port my version from palm treo 750 but u must wait for soft or hard spl

that's good news, but is there anyone developing hard spl? based on the discussion in other threads it seem the development of hard spl for TP has stopped altough many users including me were willing to donate

I have created a 6.5 rom for the Treo Pro, but I have no way to flash it... Need a hard-spl or a sd update mode and filename.

5.5 How to perform the OS upgrading process via Micro-SD card
1. Formatting the micro-SD card with FAT32
format.

2. Changing the file name from rru_signed.nbh to
pantimg.nbh

3. Saving the pantimg.nbh into micro-SD
card.

4. Inserting the micro-SD card.

5. Making the handset into boot loader mode
by pressing power and volume up button.

6. Pressing power button to activate the
re-flash procedure.

I won't get my Treo Pro until Monday, so I'll test it out monday night after I have backed up the OEM rom. I am new to the Ervius kitchens and the nbh format (my previous device was a 700wx, which died last saturday) , so it may take some tweaking. Right Now, my 6.1 rom is 78Mb. I am assuming that is because it doesn't contain the radio, spl, or splash screens. Once I get a good 6.1 flash, I will flash my 6.5 rom.

Fortunately, GSM unlocked will be available on Oct 20th, 2009. We should have some 6.5 ROMs for GSM users soon.

the "Windows Mobile 6.5 For Treo750" download "veisen" uploaded, would it work on the palm treo 700wx, because arent the 750 and 700wx similar, i dont want to mess up my phone, please help, i have to finish my home work too! and if i downloaded it on my phone, and kdht it does not work, will i be able to downgrade? i also checked the specs from wikipedia(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treo_750 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treo_700wx) and the specs were similar,(240x240 2.5 in. TFT touchscreen display) please help, Thanks
