I was peeling off my bodyguardz screen protector to put on a new one, and the darn thing was so stuck to my screen it took a lot of force to peel it off. As I was pulling it away I noticed that my "screen" seemed to be lifted off my HTC fuze!! After I kept pealing I noticed from the side that there was a film that was peeling off that had adhesive to the screen with the body guardz. I'm too scared to proceed and have left my phone that way.. my question is there a protective film (not counting any sort of screen protector even the one that comes with the fuze) on top of the screen, and that was what was peeling off? Is that film important for the touch screen itself aside from protecting it (or does it keep some part of the screen in place etc etc).
Thanks in advance, the screen does turn on and is still touch sensitive but I'm too scared to peel off the rest of the body guardz that have that "film" come off with it.

I think it is the digitizer that is comming off, or part of it anyways... the only thing I could find online is this

Hello again
So
After giving it a lot of thought, i decided to disasamble my phone to see if i can get rid of that stain. I have to say that it was a bit difficult to folow the guide but i finaly opened my cruise.
In the end i realised where was my problem.
The digitizer has 2 components:
A glass layer witch is on the bottom, and a plastic one (on top) witch are keppt together by twosided adhesive tape.
The "stain" was caused by the plastic layer, witch for some reason wasn't staying straight (it had a small bump...).
I figured this out when i pealed this layer from the glass one, witch i shouldn't have done because the layer has a connection with the glass and the small ribbon witch goes into the mb.
So for any of you, if you encounter my problem, better let it that way, cause the alternative will be a new digitizer.
I'll go to the htc service in romania to see how much will they charge me for a new one, and if the amount is to much, i'll try to order one from the web(altho not that many companies ship to my country )
Wish me luck.
LE: I have a question thow
How can you remove the digitizer from the casing ?
I tryed to pull it but i was afraid to damage something (else).

Heres a link to the picture the guy with the polaris took... the HTC black bordered part is still on the screen but there is a film sitting on top of it thats peeling off with the bodyguardz.
This is a cruise polaris and not a raphael but I think this post is referencing the same thing. Does anyone have any advice to give me? My phone is still sitting there with half of the "digitizer" peeled off stuck to the bodyguardz grrrrrrr

That has happened to me as well. I'm afraid you'll just have to get another digitizer off ebay.

Spray some of the liquid that came with it on the touchscreen (underneath the bodyguardz screen protector; spray little by little or use your finger) and it should come off with a little less effort without tearing out the screen. That's what I did. Btw, make sure you turn off your phone and dry it before you turn it back on if you do that :)
