Help Installing CAB Files on Treo Pro

:confused:Everytime I download a CAB file and try to install on my Treo Pro I get an error message stating that runtime isn't installed. I tried finding runtime on my device but had no luck...any help would be appreciated.

Hate to offer the obvious, but have you done a hard reset? which cabs specifically aren't working? Are you installing them onto your device, or a memory card?

I have one a hard reset...no luck

Onto the device, not the mem card as I don't have one installed.

I can't get any cabs to install. I am trying to install Skyfire and/or Opera Mobile

How did you perform a hard reset?

Soft reset the Red button + DPad up?

Yep.

Removed bat door, used soft reset while holding red button...waited for the "erase all items" or whatever it says and then went through the process.

I know there is a ROM update out so I wonder if that will fix this. It's obviously something JAVA related that i can't seem to figure out.

Rom update? For the Treo Pro? Do you have a link for that?
