Windows Mobile 6.5 is great. Thanks to NFSFAN. I collected 27 themes which I think they are good. You guys can download them through this link. The link is a linkbucks linking. It will automatically transfer you to megaupload after 10 seconds. you will get a zip file, unzip and put those tsk files into /windows.

BTW, can anyone teach me how to snap screenshots on my phone?

If your using NFSFANs ROM go to start>system tools>cap sure

or you can just do as I do and use an app called My Mobility it will connect to your phone and put the screen on your desktop so you can use your mouse and save screen caps right on your PC directly

Ive always had luck just dropping them directly into the \windows folder then when in your settings it will see them

a TSK file is really just a CAB file that can be opened by renaming the extension and using a cab editor/creator its named tsk only as the application uses that extension to observe and use it as a theme

thanks for the instructions and the weather. i wasn't sure what the tsk files were. Sorry for the noob questions. Do you keep them in a folder or just copy and paste into windows? Got the themes!!

Good themes, but they don't have the new WM 6.5 softkey menus nor other enhancements. :(

I was going to ask if these where 6.5 Themes or 6.x themes. For those who don't know, there is a major difference. 6.5 Themes make 6.x themes look like nothing but a wallpaper and a few colors. 6.5 themes can skin menus, msgbox, 'toast' popups, and a few other common UI elements.

I loaded the TSK files in windows. Under settings I selected one of them to test and I get overlaping graphics when I scroll in the today screen. Any ideas what I need to do to correct this

As for where you can put the theme (.tsk) files on your phone to have them show up in the Today settings menu, there are a bunch of different places you can have them.

The \Windows folder will work, but doesn't make it easy to organize your themes or keep track of which ones you have (aside from checking the list in the today menu), so this option is out for me.

Another place you can put them is in \My Documents, i put all my themes here in a subfolder called \Themes (\My Documents\Themes would be the absolute path) and they work (and show up) just fine.

And thirdly, I believe you can follow the same method as #2, but put them on the storage card in your device. So that would be \Storage Card\My Documents\*subfolder for themes, or just the files here*

Hopefully that helps people who would like more options than tossing them all in the windows folder, which is already way overpopulated, especially on custom roms (oems typically install here).

And yes, all these themes aren't TRUE 6.5 themes, none of the menus are skinned, the "toast" popups (love the reference lol) aren't skinned, etc. These themes will change wallpaper and top/bottom bars only. Also, the top and bottom bars will look the same, so if they don't match up to the picture on your background properly, that's why. The one with the road is a good example of this. You can see the tops of the trees on the top bar - looks good. But the tops of the trees on the bottom bar - not so good.

Still very cool themes, I like them alot. And if they kept the nice bubbly menus that 6.5 supports, I'd still be using them for sure!

Great work to the author, make them fully 6.5 worthy and you'll have a ton more fans. :)

As far as I know, you can just use any image that fits the screens phone by clicking on the button to use an image in the Today Screen settings. I don't have my phone with me right now, but it's at the bottom of the Today Screen settings window. The image used will change the top and bottom of the screen as well.

Hey ur themes are kool but i have a problem, for some reason only some of the themes work.

most of them look like the attached image for some reason...idk why this is happening maybe this pic overwrote the theme pics?

You may need to choose a picture for the background. Not sure which theme you are using.

It could be that the themes are corrupt or something. There is a big, full thread in the Dev&Hacking section for themes for WM6.5.x
