Tempo change by itself

Hi,

I got a problem recently with my Dopod M700 (WM5). The tempo of sound changed to faster mode by itself. I only realised this when a receive phonecall and the ringtone become faster. Everytime this problem happened, I need to soft reset and it'll be back to normal.

Anyone face this problem before and have any solution?

I've had weird issues like this during some of my rom cooking times.. it ended up being a video/audio dll was missing.. forget which ones but it sounds rom related.. u may need to hard reset or flash a newer rom. :(

Hmm...kinda weird though as I didn't delete any dll file or install/uninstall program.

If I do backup, hard reset and then restore the backup, will the needed dll file be removed since it's missing(assumed to be missing) before I do backup?
