Very pretty ROM.
Have been using it for 20 minutes now.

Couple of things I have to say.

1) Whenever I swipe on the screen, and my finger gets to the edge of the screen I have been getting the following error, followed by no touch control on the screen, until I restart.
Biotouch.exe The file 'Biotouch' cannot be opened.
(something about not being signed)

2) Some of the apps don't seem to work at all.
I couldn't get IE to work, or MSN weather beyond the first page.

3) When I was in the settings page, every time I made a change to a setting I was returned to the home screen, rather annoying when you're first setting it up.

All in all, I will have another go, on a later version when TranMinhMan has fixed the biotouch problem.

For now I'm going back to the 3Lit3 VI ROM.

I'll be posting the same comments on the PDAVIET site too.

1) disable touch flo with Advanced Config Tool and problem is solved.
2) IE do not work, but i think because there is'nt the file .exe but only the .lnk. If anyone have the exe we can try

The ROM work well with Radio 1.59.44.02, it is fast.

I'm sorry but this update does not work for me. When I try to install this it goes through to the install, the phone restarts but it is stuck at 0% and will not complete.

This rom works far more better then what I've expected. I tried several 6.5 WM versions but this one is the best. I use this rom in combination with radio version 1.59.44.02. Everthing works fine and even better after some tweaks like disable cube/touchflo, tuning the performance etc.
Wheather with msn works good this time. Only IE doesn't work yet (fix will come soon I hope). Everthing else works.

This is the best WM 6.5 rom by far. Seems to handle memory better than 21198.
Obviously we're getting closer to the MS general release version as 21202 feels much more polished.

The older dialer with this rom has fewer problems than 21198 with the Iolite canvas - which was sometimes difficult to use to answer calls especially when the device was locked.

Still no Opera, but Iris is kinda cool and a good alternative.
I've added Showaco Titanium Weather to get weather forecast/details on the Titanium plugin and it works great.

I downgraded radio from 1.65.xx.xx to 1.59.44.02 as it seems to work better for me with this rom. Don't know if others feel the same? TranMinhMan recommends a 1.59.xx.xx radio, so maybe there's something to it?

Looking forward to our XDA Polaris cooks releasing 6.5 versions soon.

I highly recommend this version - very fast simple and stable.
No special effact or unnecessary stuff
just very good one with 3G dial option
to all the great cookers of the HTC polaris - I think this is the right time to move forward. 6.1 was good but 6.5 is very good!!!
i have better wireless and BT conectivity, better interfaces, fast response, lock is better of all the solution we had at 6.1 (and thanks to all the developers).
Opra "smopra" - I always read about people complain about Opra :-) - just leave this junk - probably the problem related to Opra bad code compatibility - why to insist using it ? if you want to serf the web - use your PC/ LAPTOP - we have too small display any how :-)

I found that as well, but when I went into advanced wireless configuration and activated it through there, it started working again in communication manager.

I've found an old error just like in some wm6.1 roms. If you go to the call log and try to exit using the red button then you get a white page. You have to click in one of the selection buttons to see the call log again and then click "ok". Does anyone has a cure?

I got this after installing that PIE cab - removing it brought back the proper SMS screen. Guess I'll have to find another browser :(

hm just wanted to say the same but allright. Ill try to remove the PIE.. google maps is installed so i dont need it any more... Opera (link above) works nice and is far better than PIE. Maybe PIE 6.0 will work but i dont know of a cabfile for it

:edit: just uninstalled PIE and everything works fine (SMS). Google Maps also still works. Thats the System of MY WISHES... NO Internet Explorer... very nice =D

I think your device is perfectly working !! what I want in fact, on the contrary of what you want :D but this is only my opinion that if the phone is locked, hardware key should not be activated even in the situation where incoming call is in, so I can leave my phone unattended.

Yes, with this ROM and radio 1.59.44.02.
I don't have any problem ever with MK R12 on many other cooked ROMs. May be I'm lucky or you are not.

I haven't found the function to do that yet, this is exactly what should be implememnted in my opinion, I got so used to S2U2 that it is hard using this new lock screen where I actually have to open the start menu then click lock.

do that as usual, setting tab, lock and tick "prompt if phone unused for", set for minutes activation. It is password protected.

For lock issue, I've download Device Lock 1.2 found after google search. I installed it and it makes a shortcut in Programs for Lock mechanism in windows. This shortcut I've mapped it to a hardware button. Everything works fine.

I've butchered a USB lead and put it directly onto the contacts to get the thing to boot but it still won't recognise that it has something plugged into the USB socket. Any ideas would be appreciated????

No problem with my device. Both plugged in my laptop or in the wall charges the battery.

You can have a look in the Advanced Config under Power Management and see if there is a Yes under USB charging ...

i don think it would b a problem, just continously press the end button for sm seconds the phone gets locked.

Hi guys,

i have some problems:
1. (not really a problem) I miss the HTC phonepad for typing (see attachement). Does anyone have a cab to install this one?

2. If i unlock my device, sometimes it can not switch from "lock-Screen" to my welcome-menu

3. If I read a new message and close the message after reading, it hangs a very long time. The device does not react for about 5 minutes. This is very annoying.

4. Incoming Calls are always shown as "Unknown Caller". But i know, the shown number is in my Phonebook. But when i hung up, the name and the Picture of the caller is shown.

Can someone help me please?

I've experienced fast global response with HTC theme in Today setting with Titanium enabled. I don't know why, but it's faster, really!

Rom: PDAVIET T2M's
Radio: 1.65.30.9

This ROM rocks! Wondering to flash 501, but still not sure due to the issues not still resolved.
