Hi,

I need a little help with the notification enhancement please.
The "HTC notification" installed fine, but it was not in English.
The "Conflipper notification" won't install because of signed certificate.
Also, the easycontact is NOT QVGA as stated by the title and the download link.

that's not an application. The rule-of-thumb is that if the titlebar still says "Start", it's a Touchflo 3d page, just like the calendar, settings, stocks, weather, etc ;)

Even with green the highlight is blue, i messed about with Reg and ended up with black background and all sorts will play about in bit to see if can get the green.

The REG location is HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE

Bet someone with more knowledge could nip this in butt :D

so hi everyone, ive been using the current topaz canvas posted here and just recently ive stumbled on this: PhoneCanvas_ATT_4_3_35355_0 (http://www.4shared.com/file/119453550/a0d4a538/PhoneCanvas_ATT_4_3_35355_0.html)
this was ripped out of a new at&t topaz rom and stuying it, it looks to be similar to the currenly posted phone canvas, i think it should be possible by comparing them to port it over?!
im looking into it now, but to be honest, im not eaxtly at the top of my game when it comes too this..

In this link you will find the .cab that I used, It's called Iolite take 3, just in case anybody wants it, you install the Iolite footprints as well. This is NOT the EASY route. This Manila package is not attractive, so I applied my own themes, skins etc.

I am trying, and if any of you know where or how, to simply install the NEW Manila 2D and the Footprints app and leave the rest alone, then a simple "Complete Footprints Addition".cab can be made.

I gave up the search a couple months ago. Nothing up until that point worked at all. Oddly enough, one of the CAB's was labeled QVGA, but was actually VGA and THAT was the only one that *worked*, but of course it was unusable. :mad:

I am using a stock kaiser ROM, and still rockin' HTC Home (throwback!!), so i'm not sure an M2D version would even load on my device.
I already have the latest GMaps working, as well as TT6. But still couldn't get FP to work...

hi did someone made or found a fix for the dialer phone canvas it as in this thread ???.
the problem :
When you push on the hardware key send to bring up the
keypad it automaticly dial the last number instead of giving you
the choice to call who . The problem sometimes is not there as
it is not constant at 30 % of the time but it remain like a 70%
that you have to cancel the call .

Been playing around with the shekhar phone canvas and that annoying feature of redialing the last number when you push the green button.

I first discovered that if you go into the start menu and select phone it brings up the dialer without redialing. I next linked the phone link to the camera button and it also brought up the dialer without redialing.

Finally I downloaded GreenButton from http://www.supware.net/GreenButton/ and changed \Windows\StartUp\GreenButton.lnk to "\Program Files\GreenButton\GreenButton.exe" \Windows\cprog.exe

Now when I press the green button it brings up the dialer but DOES NOT redial the last number. I haven't extensively tested this but I thought I'd throw it out here for public testing. :)

small update on my side:
im gonna test my qvga comm manager v2.9 (plus app) on my next rom release if all goes well ill then post it here as cab...

im currently working on htc notification enhancement...lets see how that goes...

Now when I press the green button it brings up the dialer but DOES NOT redial the last number. I haven't extensively tested this but I thought I'd throw it out here for public testing. :)
Are you using a 6.1 rom?
if so, 6.1 is the cause of the problem because the phone canvas is not fully compatible with 6.1 [I had this problem too as I was using a 6.1 rom]

Try to flash your rom to 6.5, the problem will get solved~~

i had today a breakthrough in NotificationEnchancement, finally got some notifications to show and all as you can see in my rom thread...but now no more work is needed...it feels like all the wishes were granted today...its xmas ;)

New manila...lets see if its still built the same way...hope not...would be great if it were more "open" to us, less hardcoded :)

Yes I tried, but it cant launch, because i have non-htc device, patch needed.
I copied old one from v23 and it is working. Here are screenshots how it is looks like. Blue Manila was much pretty. IMHO

Yea, bluetooth from CommManager dont work, only from settings -> connection
And there is no fingerfriendly bluetooth wizard, strange, cause all others wifi and phone are.
It seems to be we have mega test packages...

Not a chef, but a fan of all the work you guys put into making these things happen - can this new Manila cab just be installed on any HTC phone (like my xv6900 w/NFSFAN 6.5 ROM) to replace existing Manila package? if you get it in cab its installable...in in package format its for cooking...should work...make backup first...

I am working on the EzInput, i have a fully working Qwerty, Compact, and Keypad with xT9 (WWE, French, German, Ita, Spanish gave by HTC)!
I search the package to have the Input Settings working...
And always the same problem with the SIPMenu, we have to use Input Selection to change keyboard.

I have a couple of people who in my inbox and on threads who are available or have done some porting. I only do imaging (being an ex-graphic designer). S.V.I has offered to do graphic optimization, kwbr also has several goodies from different ROMs and is developing his TOPIX which is a good base for future ROMS. wapvirus also contributes plenty be it completed or semi-completed apps. Cookers, extractors, testers, i'd have to copy paste.

For the Manila 2.5, I just did a thread to see who would be up to the challege. I have already extracted images from the Hero ROM which I offered EvgeniyKo and the other Hero theme creator, and I plan to do the same for Manila 2.5.

So it's not that we have a "Team" made like the people working on the VGA Manila 2.5, in time I, and I guess many people hope that such a team can be made up, everybody contributing with what they can. All in all, my days are counted, for I expect to get my hands on the Hero.

You mean the animated clock? I believe there is one, but the font is not correct. Use Search.

That project was dropped, for the person developing it, is waiting for Manila 2.5, so he can develop that instead of TF3D.

i would think m2.5 would be possible
i tried it at a diamond 1 and it takes some more ram but there are programs like cleanram that you can schedule;)
that way you wont be botherd by it and you can use m2.5 normally
and i believe the cpu and ram of a diamond 1 is lower then lets say a iolite or mega but would have to check that tonight when i have a iolite and diamond arround me:p
as for the drivers of video
im sure there is someone that knows how to make them better
look at what chainfire and neos did whit the grapihc performances
i think it would be also possible for someone to do the same for the qvga devices

With the QVGA Notification Enhancer, the PopUps are bugged for me.

I created a new agenda entry to test, and it appears off-screen (i can only see the top of the agenda icon, which appears to be on the wrong scale too).

Tapping the icons at the top of the screen does work correctly (It brings up the black screen with network, battery and notifications).

Is there a way to dissable its effect on the popups, but keep the notifications screen enabled?

Yes installed. Working fine. But there is no integration to HTCPhoneCanvas. It is like standalone application, not so comfortable
