I'm using rling's Phoenix ROMs on my Touch Dual (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450402) with SMS in threaded mode.
In some ROMs when I go to the SMS inbox and then into a thread, all messages are automatically marked as read . This is the way I want it to be.
In others (like in the newest SYS/XIP 21042) when I go into the thread, it takes me to the oldest "unread" message and I have to manually "visit" every other unread message to mark them as read.
Is there any way to change this by registry entry or is it hard-coded into a SYS/XIP?
EDIT: I asked but cooker of the ROM doesn't use threaded mode so probably he has no interest in this. And I think this possible solution would be universal to whole Windows Mobile 6 system.
