My network access is suddenly dead too. I've used TZones for years, but now I can't get any kind of data connection. Voice works fine.

Ran the tmobyjoe599.cab a couple of times, rebooted. No joy. I did notice there was no APN value entered, but manually adding wap.voicestream.com or epc.tmobile.com didn't make any difference.

Called 611, but they are clueless. Got various canned answers like "Tzones was never intended to allow web access" or "We've been upgrading all our APNs" and "There is a know Tzones proble, but we don't know what it is, or what the symptoms are."

Anyone know what's going on? (The phone is a HTC Touch Cruise/Polaris w/WM6.1 if it matters)
:(

Well reports of TZones death may be premature. Tried my SIM in another phone, and was able to make a data connection.

So I put the SIM back, and ran tmobyjoe599 again. Still no joy. Started to worry I would need to do a hard reset on the phone.

Noticed that when I looked at the connection settings, there were no entries visible under the modems tab. Ran tmobyjoe599 again, still nothing visible. Started to manually add a modem, but found that the name "My Connection" was already in use.

So I went into the registry, and ham-handedly deleted all references to "My Connection". Still no joy. So on a hunch I did the same to all entries under connections headings for "T-Mobile US". That made the whole "T-Mobile US" section under Settings->System->Connections disappear. Which was a good thing. Ran tmobyjoe599 yet again, and finally things worked. The "T-Mobile US" section was back, and two proxies were now visible.

So it looks like something was corrupted. T-Mobile was useless for troubleshooting. Couldn't even definitively say if the problem was me or the system.

Maybe this thread will help someone else.

I had a problem similar to yours, what I did was go to my.t-mobile.com and change my phone model from a t-mobile wing to a dumbphone ie. Nokia 5310 and Presto!

Somehow, it started working.

I hope it helps!
