My phone keeps searching for network.

Hello people,

I have 3 T-Mobile dash's and they've been working great until I got my 3rd one.
I bought it off Ebay because it said it was Unlocked, so i thought it was a great deal.
The phone works perfectly but whenever i put my sim card in, it always shows "searching". I have updated to WM 6.1 and I still got the problem, I also down graded back to the first version via the T-Mobile web site.
What must I do to get this phone back into working order?
