Hi guys!
I searched and didnt find this information...
I just bought a used HTC Blue Angel / Qtek 9090.
But it comes with no memory card.
So, I'll have to buy one. I was wondering about a 8 card...
But I heard that the BA only support 2 gb card, but on WM 2003. This limitation is true on WM 6?
Does it have support to 8gb SDHC cards?
Thanks in advance!

no it does not have any support for sd2.0 or sdhc cards, meaning even 4gb is also out of the picture as long as it's labeled sdhc, there are, however, 4gb sandisk cards that are not sdhc, that should work just fine. as there are no 8gb or above sd cards in the old sd standard.

You seem to be new to the forums. Thank you for joining XDA-Developers.
Please take a minute to go over the Rules and Regulations (http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=386) of the forum.
Also, it seems that you are a Blue Angel owner, in which case I will encourage you to go over the BA forum regulations here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488533)
For questions, please use the search function in the site or simply Google for an answer. More than likely, your question has probably been answered before and the answer is floating around somewhere in the site. That being said, unless you are contributing to the site with either skins, roms, ports, new applications, programs, games, etc., please do not open new threads. However, if you do have questions, you can post them either in the General Q&A section. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=456)
Thanks.

Thanks for your quick reply!
So, if I buy a non-SDHC card, only SD, with 4 gb, it will recognize 4gb, and not 2 gb?

Hi guys!
I searched and didnt find this information...
Do you know how I know that you did not search? A few things really,
a. You didn't see the Sticky on the top of Blue Angel Mobile 6 titled "Questions and Answers Section for BA Forum. Post Your Questions Here."
b. A search with the site's search engine with the term "SDHC" spits out the following results...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=22893826
... and this was only a search in the Blue Angel Mobile 6 forums only.
c. You did not read the rules of the forum either, which state that you shouldn't open new threads unless you are contributing with something to the community. There is a full Q&A section (aside from the above mentioned thread) that deals with questions.
I don't mean to flame you (trust me, that is not the point of this), but rather I am just letting you know that there are certain rules on the site that we must all obey (members of all statuses, including mods). Please go over them (link is provided in my previous post). Thanks.

Thanks for your quick reply!
So, if I buy a non-SDHC card, only SD, with 4 gb, it will recognize 4gb, and not 2 gb?
To put matters to rest, yes. Your BA will recognize the full 4GB in a non-SDHC card (Transcend makes a nice product). If you get anything with SDHC on it, your BA will not see the card at all.
Word of advise, there is a fix floating around... do not install it or you will end up having to hard reset your phone. Plain and simple.

hey guys, i have a takems 4gb card and its not HC, but my ba does not even see it! and the card is a lil to "fat" for the slot.
my ba has the 5.60.00 ROM on it. other cards, e.g. a 1gb card works fine, but this card is just making trouble. is there any way to fix it?
