Diffence betwen 2 version :
Ver 3.02.01a : use O2's Camera APP => only HP68x8 can use this version
Ver 3.02.01b : use HP's Camera APP => both HP6815 & HP68x8 can use this version

Introduce for flash ROM

--- Flash ROM via PC
- Change battery full, backup your device, remove miniSD card from device.
- Connect your device with PC via mini USB port.
- Go to Bootloader : Press both soft key (two "-" keys) and softreset (stylus) => You can skip this step
- Run file flash ROM via PC
- When appear Device Software Update Utility, choose "OS Only"
- Click next, wait ~ 15 min.
- It'll auto HardReset.

--- Flash ROM via miniSD
- Change battery full, backup your device.
- Format miniSD card to FAT or FAT32
- Extract ROM to the root folder of miniSD (name must be : diskimg.nb0, size : 64,000 KB)
- Go to bootloader : Press both soft key (two "-" keys) and softreset (stylus), i'll apear HP bootloader sceen.
- Wait 15 -> 20 mins.
- I'll auto hardreset.

The different betwen 21501 & 21500 is only about the core. 21501 is real core, 21500 is fake core - fix from 21202
21501 isn't update version of 21500. both are developing by me.

Your HP6815 is made for china, isn't ?
I was reported this issue happen in HP6815 made for china from WM6.1 version.
I don't have that device to test. What about another ROM ???

damn good rom, just have bluetooth problem. can search for devices when pairing and can recieve files through bluetooth. but cant search any devices when beaming files through bluetooth. so i cant send files to any phone using bluetooth but can recieve and pair.

oh yea and i used "Ver 3.02.02b for HP6815 & HP68x8" for my hp rw6818 much faster then ver 3.02.02a for my phone.

Start the phone in "flash mode"

Reset with "stylus" and press the 2 soft keys, with the flash in the SD card :P

My ipaq is European and after flash the ipaq is always rebooting.. just the boot screen and reboot....

Great to see you back making roms. We've missed you. Your earlier WM6.0 rom was the first non-hp rom I discovered and flashed to my 6828 leaving WM5 behind forever. :D

As with other WM6.5 roms I have tried, this and your 5.2.21500 roms work great for me except Bluetooth. A2DP Stereo doesn't work.

I've tried some WM6.5 ROMS before but all of them was with extra useless software but as usual for an NHOCBANME release this is an clean and stable ROM with only usefull extra software!

I've used it now for a couple of hours but couldn't find a bug...

Camera... WORKS
WIFI... WORKS
Bluetooth... Not fully test but works with GPS and TomTom
ActiveSync... WORKS
Theme change... WORKS (other Roms did not properly show the new visual style after theme change)

a freshly formatted SD card is recommended, 2 times faulty flashing with SD card after just deleting files that were stored on it, after format the SD card there was no problem with flashing.

Hello NHOCBANME, you truly have great roms, I have been using yours for about a year and I'm really happy with my RW6828.
However I tried the WM6.5 but had to go back to the 6.1 because I had one big problem, every time I end a call it hangs and stays like this for a long time still with the counter running and the call still in progress, or that's what the screen says, but in reality it has already ended. Sometimes I have to soft reset to be able to use the phone again. I have tried a couple of wm6.5 and even the 6.2 and all give me the same problem. I thought my phone was broken but then I went back to WM6.1 the problem is gone, when I end a call it ends right away.

Do you know about this?, NHOCBANME help!!! :confused:

hi guys,
I successfully downgraded BL to 1.00.01 and then upgrade my previous WM6.1 to Ver 3.02.02b for HP6815 & HP68x8.
At first boot everything works perfectly. Then I had to go for soft reset (locale changed). It never turned on :)
But the biggest problem is I pushed that three buttons to get in BL, once in BL I did a soft reset :((((
Ok I am such a ....(you fill it :P ) . Now it is total darkness...

Does it have a cure, or it is time to disenchant my 6815 :)

OK I FOUND THE CURE :)
Remove battery, wait for several minutes, press - buttons and put battery on, wait a few secs, then release buttons, wait again wait wait wait wait.... then suddenly lights up :)

finally i know why the blue theme pop up soft key menu looks cropped, i just thought it came from the rom. It is coming from the cropped Classic Blue skn theme that preinstalled, the Isaac Mizrahi Purple skn also cropped.

The rom works fine in my iPAQ 6815... except for...:
* Bluetooth... :(

1) I just can connect 2 devices... just after connecting the 2nd one... the option to continue adding/editing/removing devices dissappears and I only see "Connected". I think this problem has been already discussed, and is due to an old bluetooth driver. Any update ?? :confused:
2) The Hands-Free option doesn't work... no matter how I create the device, my Plantronics Discovery 650, connects ok, but after, when I do a call, the "Activate Hands-Free" option is always disabled... Any clue?? :confused:

Last night for the first time u flash my rw6815 and it went ok, no problems at all.
The rom is cool i like it an it`s fast all working no problems with application.
I think you should integrated a manila 2d touchflo in some of the ROM`s.

I even tried to return to 6.1 ROM but unsuccesfull. I ve copied flash file to formated miniSD and enter Bootloader but nothing nappened after 15 minutes, just hard reset installed oS.

Dear NHOCBANME,

let me first thank you for your efforts. I have installed the 'B' version of your firmware successfully (first I had to downgrade bootloader from 1.0.5 to 1.0.1 and then the upgrade through USB went smoothly). I really appreciate what you have done.

However, I have been, too, having Bluetooth problems. At first I successfully paired my Bluetooth headset (although I believe it doesn't work :() but after that I can not add new devices. It is the same problem another user in this thread (as a new user I can't add links - it is showpost.php?p=3765692&postcount=41).

Bluetooth however works. If I pair the Atom from PC, the connection succeeds and I can normally use ActiveSync. But from the first day, I can not add new devices anymore.

Have you maybe got a clue on how to resolve this? Beside that, I did not find any errors in your image (apart the already mentioned "fixsms" thing).

"New SMS" doesn't work for me neither (despite I've installed "fix sms.cab"), but that doesn't bother me at all.

- raise battery consumption (now my device stay charged only 1 day...)
- sometimes it freeze
- memory hungry !
- can't run more than two apps at the same time

other things, like sms and bluetooth, works great.

Waiting for a new rom or ad Android phone as a gift :-D

NHOCBANME you the one,, i tried too many roms for my old 6815 nothing worked like yours,, i tried i got problem with wifi and camera,, i tried maurin i got problem with booting,, but yours is just magically,,as i'am famous IT manger i will recommend all egypt 6815 holders to use your roms,,

one news for you,, your rom working with 6815 MADE IN CHINA so dont worry about where is device made it's all user mistakes

Well, I'd like to try this ROM but there's problem: I don't have the sp34053.exe file (to downgrade the bootloader) and it seems that I can't download it from hp.
Anyone that has it and willing to help?

My friend flashed his O2 Atom with HP6815_3[1].02.02b_byNHOCBANME and it is stuck on the HP boot screen.

It doesn't enter boot loader or hard reset.

Any suggestions.
hi there! hope your friend still has the phone because I faced the same problem and found the solution

press green + red buttons + reset, a white screen with HP's logo in the middle will appear, this is HP's bootloader, proceed with flashing from within window DSUU!
