Thanks for this rom, first impresions wooooow :D . Call, internet via o2 Slovakia (edge) ok, my mobiler ok, last igo 8.3.2 ok, OziExplorer CE 2.31 ok, Quick GPS ok... No problem with last activesync... GPS port and speed is in this ROM changed (from WM6.1)! Total RAM 84,7 MB, after start 35,8 MB free...

Hey am I the first downloader?

This is a very good ROM. none of that extra rubbish that only half of the users will like. its clean, fast, and so far I cant see any reason to back out to an earlier 6.1 ROM. The only problems Ive had so far are that the control panel exits back to the main today screen after each change (hardly a show stopper), and the scroll bars sometimes behave as though I grabbed the screen instead of the bar. Again Im not worried about that, but I am impressed with this one. Everyone - go get it!

With advance config ,go to Htc Touch Flo and disable the Cube.
That should do the trick for you;)

I followed your instructions and i have the glass scroller thingo and the pretty fonts, but now i can't change the chome items. i used to have the weather one like you have, but now it's gone. I tried going through the steps of disabling and enabiling with the titanium customiser, but no luck :( the favpeople one doesn't work either...

it is due to the titanium cpr file, it is controlling how the CHome appears on your screen. Suggestion is to install titanium weather first (it will overwrite original cpr file), then edit cpr file manually to replace the font type and sizes. To do this you can use Notepad or Word, use FindandReplace function, look for typical font size, for example condensed type is usually of 18pt.

There is no way to ease the step at the moment, it is due to every change involve the cpr file, so one way to manage it is by saving different cpr file for each font type or size, and with or without weather plugin.

EDIT; if you want to have the original cpr, just delete the edited one - the one cooked in ROM will restored, and reinstall the weather plug in

You must disable Cube and Scrolling too in Adv.Config in TouchFlo, because WIN 6.5 uses own drivers, not HTC drivers...

But i have also problem whit the biotouch. i have remove it in advansconfig and everything is ok exept in Messaging. there i still get the error.

Disable touchflo altogether. As said before winmo 6.5 uses other drivers and everything works ok.

Not at all ...I have flashed perhaps more than 20 6.5 of different builds and chef. So basic to simple things, if this is your first journey to 6.5, did you flash to stock rom first? did you hard reset after flashing? do you have a compatible hardSPL and radio?

There is no problem with SSL... I´m using Mail Push with Exchange via SSL, IMAP sending and receiving with GMAIL and without problems...

I had this same problem with the last version of the rom. I just did a hard reset and setup my email again and it all worked fine, why, I have no idea but it worked.

If you locate them in File Explorer and then select copy, then go to Phone > Windows > Start Menu > Programs and click paste shortcut, this will then place a shortcut inside the start menu for you.

been reading this thread 2 see its own problems, compared with my ROM, and this problem is strange...

Exactly !!!! In this version everything works like a charm ! IE included !!
And QuickGPS can be found under the Internet menu.

Build 21202 was, let i say, a little test from the master :D
Build 21501 is almost perfect.

In my case even much better than the rom from pcarvalho because of the fact that i didn't got any sound with that rom with Radio version 1.59.42.15 (i do not want to downgrade because this radio worked with every rom before)

just a note: you have to downgrade radio because mine uses older drivers, so only 1.58.xx.xx and below should be used...if you never downgraded radio then you always used newer drivers or the new mixed ones...cheers

Great rom, starting to love WM 6.5.
Had few issues:
Biotouch.exe was playing up so disabled Cube via Advanced COnfig as advised- problem solved.
Other prob was camera not working, so upgraded radio to 1.59.42.15 as advised, all working as normal.

One quick question though- is it possible to set the default pictures album to a folder on my storage card?
Also, i am unable to remove the "getting started" icon from the Today screen, even after following the on-screen prompts. Any ideas?

these are great projects, too, but they are a bit compilcated to make basic changes on the today screen. i think that the easiest way to enable/disable and to reorder the panels is using titanium customizer available here:

have you done the hardreset after flashing? usually weird problem can be solved by hard reset, that is why is suggested to do a hardreset after the flash. better now than later ;)

The only bug is that I can't watch tv in full screen with windows media.

thanks for this great rom. i am really impressed by look and speed and usability. i had to hard-reset twice to get the email client running (ssl problem an some weird problem where it always downloaded every mail in the folder).
only glitch so far is the funambol program, which seems to work, but doesnt give the correct feedback on what it's doing (when it's syncing with the syncml server).
anyway-this is highly recommended! :D

Sorry if this was already posted, but have noticed that if we pressed the red button to hang up the phone for a few seconds, it makes a small vibration and lock the screen? It is good to save time and avoid entering an unlock code :)

I did a press and hold on the "cancel call" red phone sign... It will vibrate and lock the phone
