My device is dead :(
It fell from my balcony (2nd storey) when performing a GPS test. It turned into bits...
I'm sorry that I can't continue, but even more sorry to lose my device.


[OLD] As promised, I'm going to create 2 ROMs. One will have Manila2D, the other will not.

This thread will be open for requests for a week (until April 25 2009). After that I'll post the final feature list for each ROM, and then, build it and release it.

Since this is a ROM that will probably be used by many users, a few rules must be established:

I will only add freewares to the ROM.
I will not add warez or software that needs a key to be registered(not everyone is wiling to pay for a software).

I can add/remove applications, games, tweaks, OS changes...
As you may or may not know, there's a limit to what i can include in the ROM, so, the applications with more requests will be included/removed

I'll upload it wherever you want (max of 5 upload servers - if you want more ask someone that has already downloaded).

I may need a cab file to add what you want. In case of reg tweak you have to supply them.

I will consider posts containing the following info:

ROM Type: ("M2D"/"With Out M2D")
Add/Remove: (App, Game, ....)
Tweak: (Corresponding Regs)
OS Change: (remove games, change windows media player skin, ...)

ROM Type is mandatory, the others are optional.

The above sounds good.

However, once Spb Mobile Shell 3.0 is officially released*, I do predict a significant shift away from Manila2D, so please keep producing your famously reliable light/ultra-light ROMs. FInixNOver 3.7.1 Light seems great for the moment as no issues have been reported as far as I can see.

Add/Remove: add jbed (for jar), a office suite with word, excel, powerpoint and pdf viewer, nice keyboard can be very cool (fingerkeyboard is very cool as diamond too)..
Tweak: tweak your bluetooth speed, as tommie (already a user had said)
OS Change: hate your dark theme sorry, use green, blue or grey. A nice command manager and dialpad.

a bluetooth software that lets you choose where to recieve files and gives u the option to reject or allow the connection... second today for plugins... quickgps for trinity ... advanced config .. the top bar software that prevents the abnormal click of start button while touching the screen ... I like the cyberon speed voice dial .. and yeah the calender tab in M2D might be good

Thank you for the opportunity. Since i tried M2D for the 1st time i loved it very much but it has a drawback that is memory consumption. Maybe this can be fixed by adding a quick close button to M2D (this can also be useful to people that has Today plugins and want to easily access them) and by removing some "duplicated" apps that you have on your M2D rom. There are some apps that do the same thing. Maybe a good start is a clean M2D rom and the users then add what they want, i mean, easy to install apps...

From the last Sept. till now, your rom occupied the longgest time in my Trinity.
Recently few days I repeatedly looked at this forum to see whether your new rom according to your fans request was released.
But now, I do not know what to say. You got pain for your Trinity, while I got one for the further selection. I believe there are other good rom, but I have to say, I love yours.

Sorry to hear about that FInix, must be damn frustrating but I guess all obstacles in the present lead to a better path in the future. :)

Like I've said before, for anyone who wants to enjoy the refreshingly new Spb Mobile Shell 3.0 (for which many new skins and tweaks are already becoming available), FInix's Light Rom is a superb ROM to use.

I moved to Kaiser, but due to Assistance Long delay, have been using my Trinity again these last month... Your M2D 3.7(.1?) version.:confused:

By now I am addicted to M2D (thx to Kaiser), but it is too heavy for the Trin.
ROM: Manila:
A lite version, without Player, Google, Internet, even Album (can be set at programs menu...) and Mail (can be accessed from Messages), to try lighting it up.
(Also I [and many others may have] found that Manila tilts the device whenever Destinator is started on a Trin.)

ROM: Without Manila:
I'd say I never liked WTask in your ROMs, particulary, I prefer other task managers.

That said, thank you my friend for all the good options you have given us... :)

My advice:
First use search : Google, Wiki and Xda-developers about unbrick and install new ROMs from this forum .:rolleyes:
