Mak, great rom! Using 6.5.1 since release and i had no problems!
The only problem is i can't use the youtube app, it works great and everything but when i click a video it says i can't play the video :confused: very strange. any one got an solution for this problem? i can't figure out what it is.

Currently using your 6.5.1 rom, it's very good, as always:p.
But why are you using this version of HTC Album?
All your roms have this one built in, but it doesn't work very well.
After starting it, it takes a lot of time before it recognizes your touch.
How can I avoid this?

This problem seem to be the mp4 support by WM (in WMPlayer, Album and.. Youtube) don't work.
So can't you make a short link in the next ROM to choose activate/De-activate HTCDShow. So MP4 support is so best compairing to tcpmp or anything else that don't support hardware acceleration. Youtube, WMP and HTC Album support it.

didnt you see a messagebox asking if you wanted to sort the icons at 2nd boot? well you can run Move_V2.mscr from \windows buf if you are using version 6.5.1 it wont sort everything

I was able to run the update, but it never finish, well it said that the update was completed, and nothing after that, I reset the phone, but not rom was updated. Is this ROM for a CMDA or GSM, I have a Sprint phone CMDA.

I'm also running Opera 9.7 (35166) on 6.5R fine, cause the origional in the R version sometimes closes when loading some websites.

I'm using the 6.5R version now for a month or so, what a great rom! Thanks for that.
But I have some points:
-When I disconnect my headset (turning my car navigation off) I got the message 'headset disconnected'. I did succeed in turning off this warning, but I still get the disconnection warning in the 'notifications' overview. Does someone has a solution to avoid this?
-When my phone can't setup a data connection it keeps poping up with the message it can't. When I tap 'Ok' immediately the next and same warning pops up. The anoying thing is that my phone turns out of standby and turns on in my pocket so it can click everything at that moment. Someone now a resolvement?
-The last thing is very strange and mostly anoying, my phone keeps having problems with the screen alignment. When I re-align my screen, it becomes de-aligned after some hours/days. Sometimes it moves the whole alignment half a screen to the left, so it causes that I can't unlock my device anymore because I can't put in the unlock-code. When I wait some time it moves back the alignment automatically. A very strange behaviour. Is this a software bug or is it my device that is broken?

Now that you are dealing with long threads, do you know if the bug from Win 6.1 is still in, that if you reach 1000 text messages from 1 person it does not display the old messages anymore and you even can't delete these?

Now that you are dealing with long threads, do you know if the bug from Win 6.1 is still in, that if you reach 1000 text messages from 1 person it does not display the old messages anymore and you even can't delete these?
but, in this ROM, only about 30 text message from 1 person will make this ROM freeze for a while in openning text message.. i ever tried in other ROM, n the other ROM work smothly even more than 50 message. even so, i still love this ROM..

Not sure, but i think Make did the other way around: since the pictures panel shows automatically photos from \Internal Storage\PICTURES folder and \Internal Storage\DCIM\100MEDIA, he changed the camera's path for taken photos to DCIM... Not sure about how to do the latter, but for sure if you put your images into \Internal Storage\PICTURES, you'll se the photos in titanium ;)

me too... the only way to fix it is delete the text message that have a lot of page in threading message..

same problem here, but it's there since every versions of 6.5 so far. the only difference is eventually the message count (maybe due to a lack of ram or processing power, but i guess the filesystem is generally slow) which "triggers" this.

i thought it's related to my huge amount of messages, i have ~5000 sms on my device. pimbackup takes me at least one hour to restore... ;)

the problem could be that the newly sent or recieved sms has to be stored in a cached thread file (in threaded mode), and i think the task doing this has to rebuild that file every time the history from this person changes, which takes as longer as more messages of the person you have!

I had the same problem with the double click...it annoyed me sooo much! opera wouldn't double zoom correctly, the screen wouldn't scroll correctly and most annoying the keyboard was very slow to type with...you litrally had to wait till the letter appeared on screen before you could type the next letter...anyways, something random happened the other day which I really hope will not happen again...My phone lock up and told me 'This concludes the best test of this software release' and would not let me do anything....so I had to hard reset the phone!! (Makerevel, is this known??! will it do it again? how can I stop it....is this software based on a beta version tha expires after a month or 2 usage??) Once I had hard reset my phone, everything was fine again!! Double tap and fast zoom and txt is working much faster....might be becasue I have not installed 'touch response' this time though!! do you use touch response???

Mine is like attached image. Notice i'm using BsB 6.5.1A, not 6.5R or below... You only have to change some Top's properties of LS_LockScene_*.cpr and a couple of things more. Have a look at my cpr (also attached), so that you can modify yours or simply replace by this. In any case, do it on your own ;)

Copy it using Total Commander or Resco Explorer... CAn't be done via ActiveSync... Not sure internal File Explorer can do this type of file copy either, but you can try if you don't have those apps...

And finally soft-reset the diam ;)

but, in this ROM, only about 30 text message from 1 person will make this ROM freeze for a while in openning text message.. i ever tried in other ROM, n the other ROM work smothly even more than 50 message. even so, i still love this ROM..

I too have this problem, I do not have a lot of sms messages, and I tried not using threaded view.

But after recieving and sending an sms my device freezes, and wont come back to life (it hangs, I can do some stuff very slow on it, but it does not release the sms/mms application, it still shows the label sms/mms on top left of the screen).

This will make me flash another rom, and I do hate to do that, since it is very good in every other way...... :(

after your instalation is done, u have to wait few seconds ( like 30 - 40 seconds about) and after a window will apear and ask if u want to disable daylight saving and rearange the icons. all u have to do is wait a litle bit after instalation. all the best

I know this is not straightfully related to the rom , but it is the one i'm using...

Regarding the AutoScreenLock in 6.5 (R), is there a way to autolock the screen but not reverting back to "Today" when doing so ? It's quite annoying to be honnest.

Also I find the lock delay a little short... but although I played with the registry I didn't notice any changes... anyone knows which key(s) and value(s) to set ?

Something else... is there a way to enlarge the callerID picture in the new call screen when phone is locked ?
I know some people will tell me to try S2U2 (which is an very good app) but although it as all the functions i like (and more i don't need) I experienced dramatic battery drain with it !
(50% in 3 hours and only sent about 10 sms, standby the rest of the time :$ )...

A part from that I love your rom hombre, had MTTY to get it perfectly stable and now it's awesome. (although HTCAlbum has funny ways sometimes and camera could be more responsive). I don't really like the 6.5.1... don't think it's doing good on Diamond sized screen (everything is too big and spreaded appart)... and I simply don't like the "not-so-easy acces to taskmanager".

every night I turn off the radio...every morning I open connection manager to reactivate the radio...but I have no pin request.... (pin code is enabled..)
tried to deactivate and reactivate pin code in phone settings...but no success...

Notes:

- Showcase task manager is enabled by default! It may cause some problems like apps not closing or getting freezed but i think it's better to have it for the memory management... to launch taskmanager keep presing the start menu icon. If you want to disable it remove the .lnk located at \windows\startup

- I've disabled ketboard vibration to make youtube and mp4 wok

- There's a bug when changing backlight manually, it won't change until you make a softerest. I'll try to fix it but i dont think it's possible without loosing the leo style panels, will try anyways.

I had a small general bug on first boot... system froze... hardreseted and everything went back to normal.

No issues so far, but i'll keep testing.
Only change made is changing the "close on tap" setting for showcase.
I also tested on the new (very private beta) TMCD without any issues.

If you dont use mtty you will have this kind of strange bugs wich nobody else have at some point! Use it, it just takes 30 seconds when you know how to use it and you won't have any strange problem :)!

Good ROM thank you. For the USB to PC problem you can use your file explorer and go to the windows directory and click directly on the USBtoPC.exe and that works. Its obviously just an error in the shortcut.

I Tried looking in Opera:config and changed default download directory, but with no luck! also looked for 'Opera.ini' but cannot locate it anywhere as its the new 9.7 version! so how do I change the main settings?? Would also like for my cache to be stored on internal storage instead of main memory and if possible would like a version of 'opera flash fix' that works with 9.7 (due to folders and files being in different locations to 9.5)

only the fact that it doesn't show up name suggestion...

Edit : Mak I read something about the PACKAGE HTCFontLink from EZInput that might be causing the name suggestion issue ;) if that helps

showcase is new takmanager for this rom
you can bring it up by doing a longpress on the start button

by default it's set to close apps... if (like me) you would like it to just minimise apps go to your registry and change this key

HKCU/Software/e-Natives Technologies/Showcase/SUITE_CloseOnTap/
set value to "0"

Then softreset ;)

i was using this other custom rom and had 23060 build and was facing the same problem..though it didnt have the leo build..as in the power thing and all..

So may be its a microsoft glitch and not leo..just thought of mentioning..

the rilphone you need is already included so dont worrie! but if you would like to change it you'd have to make a .cab with the new rilphone

Thanks for the update. This looks to be a lot faster than BSB 6.5.1A. One problem i am having is with Mobile Shell, the bottom WM bar shows up so it is cut from the bottom. This wasn't happening with BSB 6.5.1A.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thx. fixed it by following the below:

1) Make sure you're using Showcase 1.1.0...this reg key doesn't affect older versions.
2) Open a reg editor...find and edit the key HKCU\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase\SUITE_PositionFix_Winclasses
3) Remove "Manila," from the beginning of the value of that key
4) Soft reset your phone

No worries...u can actually work around it by hitting reply then the send button will be there..u just need to change the email address back to the sender.....if anything I can use Profimail or something similar..no way i'm going back..this rom is just 2 good!! its like having a brand new phone...Will keep u updated if I find anymore bugs...but so far so gud mate!! cheers!

If you dont use mtty you will have this kind of strange bugs wich nobody else have at some point! Use it, it just takes 30 seconds when you know how to use it and you won't have any strange problem :)!

My bad. I updated the rom then tried to use spb backup to install my settings. Did a hard reset and no probs. All sorted. Many thanks.

Found another bug in the messenging system

- if you make a new MMS the name suggestion doesn't work either and you can not add a picture to the message ... the add image/video icone is missing but the area is clickable and brings up a page where you can't navigate through system to choose the file.

I also tried to send through HTCAlbum and MMS froze after the image was added... had to softreset

Not required if you prefer to keep the latest stock radio 1.09x. But some newer ROM's like Maks' seem to work better with the latest radio 1.15x.

You were right the showcase did all the trouble.

So I disabled it, and installed aebuttons and pocket plus, then i mapped a key to the alt+tab and the task manager (aebuttons), that fixed my issues, and now I do not need the showcase anymore.

This is by far the BEST ROM I have seen (and I played a lot with my diamond)

just install HTCScroll v1 and then copy and rename htcscroll.dll to htcscroll2.dll
so you have 2 files in your windows folder: htcscroll.dll AND htcscroll2.dll (but actually they're both the same v1 file)

OR,

simply extract and copy the attached to windows folder :)

Up until yesterday I was a complete noob on wm, to be honest i was so fed up of my htc diamond i just wanted to trash it.
Anyway decided to read the walk-troughs for flashing and then installed your ROM, and wow.. its like i have a new phone now :).
Way faster then my old ROM(Diamond_HTC_NOR_2.03.409.2_Radio_Signed_Diamon d_52.51.25.26_1.09.25.23_)
Its also finger friendly and so far all the applications seams to works for me, exchange sync, gmail, tomtom, and more.
Now lets se if I can get the tomtom icon on my start menu.

I really like your roms.
But got a problem with this one. I installed it succesfull. But it got stuck after a small time. i reseted it and it said: not enough space or something. I installed S2U2 on it, nothing else.

I flashed the rom again with the same BSB 6.5.1 B , and did everything teh same, and i didt use it for 10 hours, started it up, and used the S2U2 app,, stuck again.

Reseted it again, and it started up, but it started up EVERY program on the phone, stuck again....

Whats the problem?
