No. This rom is already fast, it won't be any more only by removing files from windows folder. I feel there is much speed improvement between 10pp and 16pp. (this rom is 16pp, yes ?)

4. and PIM backup?..
Install it yourself ! Look after ultra clean edition methods. sashimi installers and things like that. Then you'll be able to customize every rom the way you like in minutes right after flashing.

Do yourself what you can do, and let the rom chief do what you can't. They'll lose less of their precious time.

I've investigated this and you cannot install any widget , just in the emulator. I guess there's some kind of restriccion from microsoft or MSN... will look more about it when i have time but i dont think widgetsthis will work with any other ROM as it's designed to work (or dont work xD) like this.

Perhaps i'll try another rom just to check if it will (not) work there. I dont realy see any good reason for a restriction like this, because there are a few sample widgets already installed (like msn weather or money).

I've tryed it but i wont add it to the ROM yet since i cant get phone keypad to work. If i get all working then for sure i'll add it for next releases, for now you will have to install it by .cab if you want it.

I think if you go into the account properties on your phone you can change the settings there... just need to tell it to download a few kb more than just the header....

i had that issue earlier bsb6.5 version, even if i pressed hard button to reject/answer call nothing happened, that's why i stoped using s2u2, for slide2answer i have tachi phone canvas, but i still miss other things (windows locking is not what i'm expecting after using s2us)

Download the attached file, extract the script file inside and copy it into the Device\Program Files\TitaniumWeather folder, OVERWRITING the file that's already there and then either do a FULL update on the weather panel or restart (soft reset) your device...

I have look at about 40 pages of this post and cannot seem to find an answer. Try with 2.03 official ROM. You shouldnt have any problems updating to it.

Im having a bit of a trouble with your last rom (BsBK), when i connect my phone to the pc, it sincronizes inmediatly, but then, it does not turn itself off (in the settings it is configurated that: "tur off device if not used for 1 minute") so it overheats so much! but, when i charge it using a power point, it tur off in a minute!

If i turn it off using the power button, activesync closes! :confused:

It should work but if it doesnt it's cos of the new manila version, i cant fix it. Either use an older manila or ask the creator of the program to give support for this version.


It works perfectly but sound is a bit low like someone said.

InCallRecording is not missings, i removed it because recorded conversations from default windows mobile dialer are shown with the program "notes".
I will revert back to older audio driver so the sound will be clearer.

Can't compare wm6.1 wich have been out for years with wm6.5 wich is in beta stage and won't be released for the diamond.

Perfect rom version K except one thing, InCallrecording is working but incoming voice is very soft & not clear unlike your I version and also not possible to save recording in internal memory. Can you please guide me how can I have your older audio driver so the sound will be clearer. This application is very important for me. Thanks in advance for you reply and support.

On version K - When connecting to laptop, i get the three options:

* ActiveSync
* Drive
* Internet Sharing

When I select internet Sharing I get the following error:

The file INtShr cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its commponents cannot be fund. If the problem persists, try reinstll or restoring this file.

This error didn't happen in version J.

I can however get around this, by opening the Internet Sharing application myself, but its a bit of nuisance.

I've found small bug in the USB2PC popup (the menu which appears when the USB cable is plugged in) - choice Internet sharing doesn't work. Solution is easy...the popup program is searching for the file \Windows\IntShr.exe, but in the WM6.5 the exe is named IntShrUI.exe. I've made a copy of the IntShrUI.exe named IntShr.exe and everything works fine - the icon Internet Sharing in the Start menu and popup.
Does anybody know if the WM supports symlinks to files?

Great ROM. Very fast and light.

One problem I have is with the calendar. My "all day" events appear one day early. I can confirm that I do have the right time zone selected (Sydney +10) and also that this is not a DST problem. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

I haven't had this problem with other ROMs.

When I try importing this key via PHM Registry Editor, item IMPORT is greyed. As far as I know tasks arn't supported, they're not supposed to sync. They've only recently been added to Google calendar.

The advantage of MY PHONE is that is also synchronise text messages. Hopefully will google also be able to do that in the near future...

There seems to be some drastic improvements - with games Mainly.

SPB mobil shell uses OPENGL - & the interface seems a little more smoother after i installed the ATI drivers.
I'm not to sure it will improve the Performace of Manilla / TF3D

I've tested 2 other .net applications - PPCPimBackup 2.8 (to restore call logs and over 2500 SMS after the ROM install) and the game hdWobble, both apps worked fine with the framework 3.7

I've found 3 games that aren't working for me on the K rom. Warfare Incorporated v1.2, Machines at War v1.2 and Absolutist Poolhouse v1.0. They launch so that the games title is on the start bar but never display the graphics. All 3 worked fine on J. My first time I flashed a ROM, running K version now .. very sweet.

I have 2 questions that I hope someone can help m with.

1. Is it possible to when I delete a sms, it gets auto deleted, and not moved to deleted items ?

2. I like the honeycomb structure, but I don't know if the same structure is possible on the today screen ? Makes it easier then scrolling I think.

Yes, i knew that's working buuut i'd preffer to use the menu like always.. mmm.. maybe i can make a small app to change between keyboards easily and associate it with the call button or smthg.

In the last version alarms are working fine if device is not locked (thanks microsoft) but when locked sometimes this happens... and i cant fix it.

Ya the problem comes from .net framework 3.7 so i'll revert to 3.5 for next version.

Copy the .nbh (it should be diamimg.nbh, if not rename it) to the root of your internal storage, then hold volume down and the back key while you press the red reset button with ur stylus, keep it held till you enter bootloader mode.

Disable the voicemail panel, then click om menu eand choose manualy add panel/ page, create a panel named Igo (or what ever you want to call it), then go to the same menu and choose a page, choose the panel you just created and follow the instructions. when you are done do a soft reset.
I also think you can export the panel from the registry so you can add it back after a flash without all the programming, I havent tried this yet but am almost very sure it works. someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Try with 2.03 official ROM. You shouldnt have any problems updating to it.


Just use something to backup your things like microsoft my phone / pim backup + UC and you will get the phone with the same things like before without much time.


It's because of the new .Net Framework 3.7, you could try to instal 3.5 again to see if it works.


I'm staying with the diamond, i cant afford to buy a topaz when i bought a diamond just 1 year ago :p

Install either aHen's or Tsowen's taskbar and you can have your pick of taskbar icons, with and without battery percentage...

I've searched but I can't find it, is there a way I can go back to the default one? I know that the scrolling will muck up but I don't really scroll with it anyway so its not a problem for me.

WM Dialer fault... check the FAQ. You can easily resolve it by installing tsowen taskbar.
I know theres a cab on the net (forgot the site) that adds only the bluetooth icon.

EDIT: found it: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=67224, here you can find BluetoothIconNotifier1.CAB. You have to register in the forum to make downloads in this forum.

I have only 1 issue, when running tomtom, memory map etc the taskbar keeps appearing and this reduces the screen available to tomtom? Never happened on 6.1??

FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly only installs battery. But your cab works ok too.
