if you cant boot the phone now because of problems just download the diamondcustomruu, put it together with the diamimg.nbh file into a folder, put the diamond into bootloader mode(softreset+volume down) and run the diamondcustomruu.exe. Of course do this after MTTY(or flash stock rom) or you will have same problem.

I have no honeycomb in the start menu!

Microsoft dropped honeycomb start menu. You can change your start menu by using showaco startmenu (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=481379)

How do I install this on my diamond?
Make sure you have installed OliNex Unsigned Hard-SPL (1.93.OliNex works fine).
Copy the .nbh (it should be diamimg.nbh, if not rename it) to the root of your internal storage, then hold volume down and the back key while you press the red reset button with ur stylus, keep it held till you enter bootloader mode. Hard reset after the install. More info on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211, and you should read it to make sure you know what you are doing.

Why slide to answer is not showing like in your picture?

The winmo 6.5 beta only shows slide to answer when locked. You can activate autolock feature with BsB AutoLockScreen.cab, that way you will get slide to answer in almost every call. Another options are using Chobit Company SmartLock to autolock or S2U2 for a complete slide to answer soft.

This ROM have Radio or not?
Not.

What Radio is best for this ROM?

Its up to you to test it. Radios can be better or worse depending on your location, so can’t really help you with my suggestion. Go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470306 and make a choice.

Go to program files\Ram Sweeper and edit RamSweeper.txt. Add a new line with your APP name.

How do I configure the TitaniumWeather for city?
Go to http://www.accuweather.com, search your city and once you get to forecast page check the browser URL. Should have something like: locCode=…
Use the loccode to configure your city on TW setup.

Why can't i make a video call?

Winmo 6.5 beta doesn’t support video call yet. Meanwhile you can install HTC dialer or phone canvas to make video calls, but i dont recommend it since it will produce ring delays, too much ram usage etc...

Those are the version numbers. First you had A, then B, then C...

DIAMOND tf3d config.v0.6.7 is not working with your manila download.
It should work but if it doesn’t, it's because of the new manila version. Either use an older manila or ask the creator of the program to give support for this version.

Yes, you would lose them. If you want not to lose them just sync it with Microsoft Office Outlook on your PC and after re-flashing you can sync it again with your phone. If you do not use outlook, you should consider to save all your contacts into google contacts and sync them with google sync service. Or now you can use Microsoft My Phone wich works perfectly!

Ya, something is wrong with google maps. probably is just the .lnk cos i could start it from /windows folder.

Nodata works perfectly, it gave you an error because you dont have an internet connection configured so it gave you a nullreference exception.

In fact it is included in the ROM but i disabled the tskbar icon because it looks really bad with the new wm6.5 taskbar. So when you close a program you close it not minimize.

You can enable the icon again by just going to settings->system->task manager->button->check enable quick menu on today screen.:)

Ya the problem is that this is the only HTC Volume manager working for wm6.5 (at least the only one i could find that works on this build) so either we take this one or use the windows default one.

You can install htc phonecanvas if you want to get the shtc slider/phone keypad. Anyways i upload a .cab that autolocks the phone when the backlight is off so i almost always get the new wm6.5 dialer.


edit: btw im open to suggestions so if many ppl wants phonecanvas to be added, i will at next version. All suggestions are welcome!

For landscape is like wm6.1 you will nedd an app to rotate things (like change screen, flip it..) or the sensor sdk 4

And to make a videocall i think you will need to install phonecanvas cos it cant be done with original windows phone keypad

I have the same problem..... when I try to dowload gps data during active sync connection the syncronization crashes... when i try during a wifi connection the program doesn't find the internet connection. I used Messenger, titaniumweather update and other programs without problem...

i remember other ppl having this problem with quick gps, i think it was solved by opening pie or opera and navigating to the htc homepage, then if you run quick gps it should work :p

This ROM is excellent but Quick GPS doesn't work, it always fails downloading whereas Opera, messenger,... work correctly.

But sometime i can't connect at all to the internet, I need to soft reset the phone many times, or to turn off/on 3G, data,...

I didn't have this problem with build 2500 but I already encounter this problem with other ROMs even on WM 6.1

One minor thing, when you press long for shutdown, it pop up a tool in Spanish,
personally I don't care :D but you should replace it in your next release.

Like i have done with all roms if they have the htc dialer i disable it and i use the halengreen cab to remove the volume control. removing the htc volume control allowed in call control. this rom however threw up a weird problem. the volume up button increased the volume and down decreised however after removing the htc volume both buttons increased the volume. i could still lower it using the on screen bubble but weird. uninstalling the cab brought full up down control back. any ideas whats up as its a bit annoying that i have no way of using in call volume adjutment without taking the phone away from my ear.

Loved the rom, was looking at using it. However would have prefered a Rhodium no arrows phone keypad which i just could not get installed. I tried 3 different versions but could only gedt the qwerty one to show. Any ideas?

Did manage to get Rhodium Manilla to work on top and that was pretty sweet. Would have prefered the phone canvas all the way through, not just when locked but i guess that will come.

Bug:

When the screen is locked for every contact that tries to call you, you get an unknown dialer who's calling you. (when the screen isn't locked it's normal, but the interface is gone with the slider which is called htc phone canvas if I'm not mistaking...)

When being in locked mode and screen switched off, you turn on the screen and then it suddenly wakes up or something and says you have a text message for example, don't know if this occurs always..

That screen only comes when your diamond is locked. (Start - Lock)

first you install p.4 BsB AutoLockScreen.cab , then when yr mobile had locked, the incoming call screen will be shown. u can test it. :)

Love your ROM. Blazing fast, and I can tell it has the mark of an experienced pro.

Just one question: is Remote Desktop possible? Was there anything installed by default? I have tried installing the cab from Swtos' thread but after configuring everything, when I click 'Connect', it seems to be infinitely connecting and doesn't do anything else. As far as I know, Remote Desktop is only 800kb so I would be extremely grateful if you could include a working compatible build with your next update. Excellent ROM once again.

its posted a few pages back. you can also install diamond tweak or advanced config to set autolock when backlight goes out. presume its the same tweak this cab does.

If you use a registry editor and browse to hklm\software\microsoft\chome you can change the left soft key for all pages of titanium. sk1text is what you want displayed and sk1url is the path to the exe. if you then click on cclock you can change the right soft key on clock only. sk2 this time. i personally have left set to comm mgr and right clock screen 1 linked to galarm.

Yes this is a common problem with all roms use a midi or wav file as an sms sound. Sometimes this fails to sound as well i have found so i used the attatched cab in addition. This repeats any notification at a set period and yoou can use mp3 or wma with it and it works.

It performs some reg edits but i never knew you could lock the screen when making a call. Brilliant since the 6.5 lock screen includes a nice incall screen .

It works as i have tried it. It auto locks when you receive a call which can be very handy if you dont like unlocking your phone under normal use but want the sliding answer.

Battery time is much better then roms with TF3D!
& loving the new interface.

The only 3 things I'm missing atm is the bigger MenuEnhancement from Touch Diamond 2 which I had in some previous WM6.1 roms.
And a better interface for phone (slider htc phone canvas for example would be better)
Also when you're in a call, you can't reduce or increase the volume of the person who's talking to you, which is a bit annoying..

Things to change:

I am currently trying out SPBShell3. This thing sucks in a lot of RAM and causes problem for other RAM hungry softwares, like iGO. Unfortunately, there is no way to switch this thing off.. other than removing it form startup and reseting phone. Even if you force close it in task manager.. this thing restarts.
This is where RAM sweeper came into play. Running RAM sweeper completely closes the SPBshell (and frees up RAM). Once I am done using iGO.. restart SPBShell. Excellent!!

I apologise for not explaining how ram sweeper works.. i'm stil making some small changes before i post it here in xda.

Instead of closing a blacklist of programs (like other programs do) it kill all processes but the ones that are in a whitelist.. so this way is much more efficient.

The whitelist can be modiffied , its a .txt file located at \windows named RamSweeper.txt. I included the most important applications that shouldnt be terminated but you can add everything you dont want to get closed.

Either it has some bugs due to the beta nature of the 6.5 OS... but it isn't so important! I ever restored my 6.1 ROM, but now I think that I'll stay with this 21501 ROM :D

I like so much your RamSweeper! It is so much efficient... and now I don't need to reboot my Diamond for freeing RAM (ouh, yes, I have to, but not once a day :D)
STaskManager is simply essential and fast: got all important functionalities and working well.

Okay ^^ Now I see, the same thing I had on my SE's before, which had a light at the back (together with the camera) but you could choose only to use it as a flash light. that's the only thing I miss with these phones.. for the rest, NIICEEE!!

I like this ROM very much, it's fast and stable and the battery last more than my old WM 6.1!!

I'm using it with the new resco contact and I find it perfect!!

bugs:
1. usb connection disabeles contact list and incoming calls/messeges
2. volume buttom does not work.

is there a chance to change the phone menu look and a contact list to some more firiendly one. (for examle there are only two options for incoming call- ignore/answer...can you add silent, pass the call or whatever else).

so far, its a really nice rom. im stay with that rom.

No, I'am sorry... don't know the registry for this one.
I know there is a ABC - T9 switch in the keyboard directly, maybe this one can help you

For those who want really a dialer like the phone canvas I found Yota Contacts.
Never tried installing the PhoneCanvas, someone who did?

I'm trying it at the moment and liking it till now, so for those who want to give it a try ;)
It's not the great solution, because it changes everything about contacts into Yota, which is kinda different..

Thanks for a great ROM, had issues on my Diamond today (My Xperia is away for repair) so decided to upgrade to 6.5 and picked this one based on the clean build.
So far so good, been running it for about 10hrs and no isssues so far.
TOMTOM is good and all my apps are working just fine.

(NOT fully update)

And wait for 20-30seconds.

+ check settings under 3) Forecast Options/Setup
5) Connect to Internet (Y)

Also make sure your using the vertical line not a slash and that there are no spaces before, after or in the middle of the code.

it should be done already. but you can install this cab if not.

But you will need to back up the skin is i think the holyfox version uses a different skin unless of course you prefer the holy fox skin.

So, the ROM BsB 6.5B works fine for me. But I can't install my TomTom 7 (7.450.9028) properly. I'm doing it on my internal storage /Program Files/Navigator/. I can start the application and see the map too (DE_AT_CH_and_Eastern_Europe_815_2024). But at the moment, I chose the map my Diamond freezes. I suppose the map is OK, she worked good under WM6.1 on the same device and TomTom version.

Im sorry to bother you all, but i really tried everything to get Danish T9 support on the keyboard, but no luck, i searched and installede a lot of different reg patches, i even tried to add all the strings on keys to enable danish as i have all the files for the keyboard, but still no luck, it wont show in the rollout panel :( Can somebody please help me? I Love this new 6.5 rom but i really need danish support for this to be perfect.

What I manged to do is kind of nice.... I installed the original manila from swtos cab collection and now I have WM6.5 and TouchFLo3d working together and absolutely flawless with this Rom...so far no bugs :):):)

It's only the QWERTY keyboard, so not the keypad (it's in the list but it doesn't work) and it's the arrow version.

First, many thanks for sharing the ROM. I think it's a very nice and hard work. It's my first try on a WM 6.5 ROM (and also the first try with a cooked, not official ROM) so I cannot compare it with others, but I love the new look and functionality (got bored with Manilla:) and I was looking for something new)

I'll keep looking for customizations to this since there are several things I'm not used with:

1. The Start Menu look nice but it's harder to access a program in it. I used to arrange my Start Menu in my own way and now I'm a little "lost in space" till I'll get used with it (or find a way to customize, rearrange the items, place them in folders, etc).
Later Edit: Sorted out (stupid me)...works the same way as for WM 6.1... Entered with Explorer, created new folders and moved the links from Windows/Start Menu there. Now all show up OK for me

2. Speed & memory usage seems to be OK, though there are times when the device apparently doesn't recognize a press and I have to retry.

3. Is there a way to set as default a certain "applet"? For example, when coming back from suspend, the selection in Home Screen is always on the clock...I would prefer to have titanium weather or fave people by default...

4. I recall that in WM6.5, one of the changes was that the contacts are also linked/related to SMS/e-mails send to them, so that when you open a contact you also see the "conversations" either via SMS or mail or even call log. I couldn't find this... Is there an option to activate this?

5. I miss the "appl launcher" from Manilla where I can put some of my frequently used programs. I saw that were some print screens containing a panel applet called "programs". Is there such a thing?

First of all. Great ROM!
But I have two question:
- Is it possible to get the old Start Menu back. I really don't like the honeycomb.
- I tried the language file from the thread posted by one of the other members. I installed it but it doesn't change anything. I only see the 5 allready installed languages and none other. Do I also have to install the application from that thread?

I search this thread, but couldn't find the answers. So sorry if they're allready answered :).

i've just installed this rom (i've already tried an early version of wm6.5beta of another user)....simply amazing.
reeeeeally fast, and quite stable.
god job man!

Some things to correct:
- on msn weather i can't write with phone tab, but only with qwerty
- on menu weather i can't set an italian city for the meteo...seems accepting only usa zip code.
- some top bar icons are ugly...

Another and the most anoying problem is when i want to close massaging app it became frozen and only soft reset helps.

Rom is good but in sounds and notifications some times notification for ringtone will not work . lt shows an error message that ringtone file corrupted . this problem will not fix until hard reset. the video player is not fine in reverse landscape mode. can you fix these problems

Im not surprised. Why would you want to keep 4000 sms on your phone?
