Hi everybody,
I'm the owner of a HP hw6915 mobile phone with windows mobile 5.
I use it as GPRS modem to access to the internet, but the nearest BTS offers me only GPRS (no EDGE) . If I try to move some hundred meters from my home I can find also EDGE.
So I thougth that I can solve this problem telling to the phone to use another BTS.. but it's not so simple.
I've found a FieldTest for Symbian OS and trying to use it on a nokia mobile phone I had success. With this I can change the BTS and use EDGE with satisfaction.
But I can't find something similar for windows mobile. I tried with the one that I've found on this forum but it gives me "N/A" for nearly all parameters. And moreover it seems a "read-only" fieldtest, (in nokia fieldtest I can manually specify which BTS I want)
what could I do? Do you have advices?
And the biggest problem is that I should do this manual BTS change on a gprs usb modem, but after some searches I think that this is impossible :(
(i hope my spelling was correct, if not excuse me but i'm not english)
Thanks.
