Accurate Test?

I connected my Tilt to my laptop, and, using Internet Sharing, did speed tests on three different sites. I am using HSDPA. I am in Little Rock AR area and connected thru Dallas TX

Ping varied from 168 to 222.
My download speed was 1134 kbps.
My upload speed was 319 kbps.

Did I actually get the connection speed of my Tilt? Is this a good test/and results for the Tilt?

It sounds like that would give an accurate reading of your device's speed, but if you want to be sure, this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395165) has an excellent, free application to measure your speed in kbits/s.
