final word for diamond problem in gps

i read lots of thing about gps error in diamond [cant find signal ].
but what is the final word and final solution for gps error ?

Running on the latest europe english rom and i have a bit of lag (1-2 seconds) in igo. The next version should fix it for good, but by my standards a 2 second lag is critical only when you're going waaaay too fast :). My iGo finds the satellites in under 10 seconds (or a minute if i "clear" the gps data - also known as a cold start).

Yestarday i used the gps in a canyon 10 meters wide and 70-80 meters deep. Didn't expect it to work but it did...
