Just a few minutes ago I download and install THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4249628&postcount=1)

Then I found that I liked the default comm manager by abu better than this one so I remove it. However it does not removed.

How can I revert back to the comm manager that comes with v10? and move the comm manager icon from the main start menu to connections folder?

Can I just reflash v10 again?

The new comm manager overwrites the files of the old one. You need to find the old comm manager and reinstall, or hard reset to get the old one back.

Move the icon with Total Commander, navigate to windows/start menu , choose and move to windows/settings/connections.

Are you using cHome or M2D ? M2D doesn't , hasn't and willn't work fully in landscape. Assign a key to rotate screen, when screen rotates to portrait, hit the key and rotate it back.

this is a problem that is just inherent to the manilla 2d interface abu uses in the rom - it was taken from phones that do not have a landscape mode (i.e. no sliding keyboard), and therefore, has issues with both operating in landscape, and switching back and forth between the two.

"it has been hacked as far as it can be", so don't hope for a fix for your issue any time soon. I find that if i have an issue after I'm back in portrait, that flicking the keyboard open and then shut again will put things back to normal most of the time (with the exception of the album tab i think). But, worst case scenario, it only takes about thirty seconds to do a reset.

If you are just reflashing the same rom, no need to OEM first

Just press the MS direct push button and the wifi button should ungray.

Put your phone in bootloader to se what Hard spl you have,

There is a Mega Dialer bug created when MS3 is installed. the buttons open the contacts and the dialer gets crippled. Could you look into it since I only know of you who has much experience and knowledge.

So how do you change the programs in the chrome launcher .. I guess the name is Gprograms ? Any advice or step by step ?

Second I still have the problem that bluetooth on my stereo headset is still mono / right channel only . Any idea .. does thos work for somebody with this rom ?

I also have this problem, I noticed it got to 32+MB before my hardreset today, this is after my initial V10 install the day it came out. (Hardreset unrelated)
I suspect this might be a contributing factor to some ppls performance issues if its growing large enough to take over precious space.

I did a search through the forums and I've seen a few ppl with the same problem in different roms but no one has a solution besides ^ killing cprog and deleting it. Any other thoughts on it?

Side note: I'm using straight ROM/RAM as I don't have a microSD card yet, would this matter to the installer and where/how this folder/file is handled?

Same here I just killed it, deleted a 33mb cprog.log file and then ran cprog.exe again (which loaded my dialer).

when you say soft key, do you mean a button on the front plate, or the stylus reset button on the bottom?
A little note - when i flash stock rom prior to flashing one of abusalza's, i flash multiple times - only takes about 15 minutes to do it three times.

Found a solution or two. One from another thread (on Polaris forum - search XDA for cprog and deblogger) and one of my own devising.

Solution 1 is to delete the whole key...
HKLM\Software\HTC\Deblogger

Solution 2 which I am still testing is to goto
HKLM\Software\HTC\Deblogger\Zone
then go into each subkey and set EnableOutput to 0 instead of 1. This so far has resulted in a 48byte cprog.log...

Please note this works for me, test it yourself before deciding whether either solution works for you.
I accept no responsibility if you have to hard reset your device or it dies or blows up or somat.

- Mobile Navigator can not find the GPS receiver anymore
- HTC GPS test opens the GPS and I get data in the first screen but never any satelittes/ fix

any idea other than hard - reset ????

I have had problems like this - even with the stock HTC ROM. It usually would occur only in more "remote" locations, but occasionally would occur even under ideal conditions. I just chalked it up to the fact that this is a PHONE with a gps feature, vs. a full-blown dedicated GPS unit.

That being said, I must say that the GPS on my phone now seems to lock on the satelites much faster and more reliably with this ROM than with the stock HTC version. It does occasionally not want to find the signal, but a soft reset will nearly always solves the issue for me.

I am sorry I couldn't provide much help for you, but I wanted to pass along my experience for others experiencing similar problems.

To diable the start up sound go into advanced config and scroll down to htc animation. Edit start up sound to windows\none and save no more start up sound.

If you mute your phone before turning it off you will not get the startup sound when you turn it back on. That is one way around it. But then you have to remember to turn the sound back on. :)

What you have experienced is most likely caused by your not flashing the stock (att or Htc rom as appropriate) and allowing it to configure up to the point that it asks for your input. Then Hard Reset and THEN flash a custom rom.

thanks I will flash back to this rom and see if it will work. I been flashing like crazy I can't find a rom without bugs lol. This one has been the best so far minus that SMS issue. Not sure if this will work though it's not that the time is off. It's just not showing the time at all on received txt msgs.

It is YOUR choice... But with a WM6.5 rom, you run a STRONG risk of problems if you do NOT flash the stock rom first. Just search on this & TPC's thread for all the horror stories that people report were FIXED just by going back and doing it right:

1. Flash Stock Rom - let it configure until it asks for input
2. HARD Reset (do it a couple times if you really want to assure a good flash)
3. Flash Custom Rom
4. HARD RESET AGAIN.
5. THEN, configure your device.

I have one question. How the hell do we change the volume in this thing.

I use 3.34 Hard.

Apparently in the Notifications Bar, I dont see Volume Control or such at all.

Press and hold the "OK" button at the left side of your TytnII.
This will get you to the volume settings.

There are also volume presets which can be found via the menu itself. Just scroll down in the CHome or scroll to the right in M2D.

I have the same problem with the volume control. Pressing the OK button under the scroll wheel doesn't do anything for me. The other option sure seems like the long way around to change the volume controls.

Is it designed to work like that? When I tap the volume icon on the notification bar at the top it only brings up the notifications screen with nothing for the volume. Is that how it works for everyone?

SMS Preview numbers...Do not change. It always reads "1/99" even when scrolling thru..

Is there a fix that I missed? Its a minor detail but an annoying one.

I have the same problem with the volume control. Pressing the OK button under the scroll wheel doesn't do anything for me. The other option sure seems like the long way around to change the volume controls.

Is it designed to work like that? When I tap the volume icon on the notification bar at the top it only brings up the notifications screen with nothing for the volume. Is that how it works for everyone?

Probably a bug? Can't select categories in Agenda when making appointments with the stylus, pressing the radiobuttons doesn't do anything. Selecting using the keypad is OK.

i had test on v11 but everything's work fine, not sure on v10. did you try hard reset before?

If you look in the screenshots (3rd row, far right), under Connections, there is the app for Live Search. That's the outdated version. Can you put in Bing instead?

Never tried to do what you described, but I just did and I get the same results.

i fixed m2d home screen where the alarm and date on one line, fixed debug problem, added moto home, fully based from 23017 for less bugs :p and etc i can't remember for details and also updates some apps...

i use unlimited internet access on my HTC TYTN II, and i always make it connect to GPRS/3G, but since i flash it to Abu's ROM after several hours the connection such not connect but the the icon GPRS/3G looks still connect to the internet...

so i have to turn it off first on Com manager and try to connect again and then it will work fine...

is it some application or setting that can make retry dial when unconnected happen?

i dont think he ported anything he just uploaded it here for us, when he first did it his link died, and i found it from a Chinese website and it was the exact same, just wanted to clarify that, he did "link us" but he didn't port or modify the software, that's why its still partial in Chinese.

- fixed sms number issue on manila
- using previous java version
- not sure about v10 but sms time stamp working and no problem on v11

- fixed snooze time options for alarm

i think you guys dont understand what hes asking for....he needs a private ftp server to upload to that will let him resume upload after his connection times out. if it were as simple as uploading to rapidshare or some other share site this would already be done but its not :) i have been fortunate to have some friends help me with servers for my roms, abusalza works hard on giving you guys the best roms for kaiser you should try to help him if you can by donating and/or providing him with a ftp server :D

Hey, rom runs fast and is awesome.
There is no CHome on this version for people who doesnt know.
I have a question, I like windows mobile's own word correction and dont like the T9 stuff that comes with the full qwerty keyboard, but I do like the keyboard. any help as to how to turn it off. because I go through the settings and change t9 to off and windows input correction on and it doesnt make any diffrence.

tried using default keyboard and restarted, same issue. cant see the text being inputed. It will show after you hide the keyboard again. Cant seem to figure out what is causing it. I have already hard resetted as well. This is after flashing stock rom, then v11.

thanks for trying to fix. appreciate all your hard work. I like pie in 6.5 because it has excellent kinetic scrolling and it loads most of the mobile version of websites properly. Weird issue with the input text though. Thanks Abu for checkin into that.

Very good ROM. While waiting for the V11, I was testing others with its good but yours meets most of the applications I use daily. MOTOHOME as expected the novelty and is very good. I suggest you keep the Chome alternative. Furthermore, it is not working MOTOHOME as expressed ANHPHE076. :confused:
Nor does the leaf MOTOHOME RSS.
One question: will permit a TouchFLO 2.6 ROM with Kaiser or the Home of HERO?. :D

Loving the ROM so far, thanks so much Abu. However, if I select MOTO Home, I cannot add any programs to the program buttons. In fact, when I select "all programs" or anything that would list the programs installed....there is a blank screen. If I go back to Touchflo all the programs are listed and are able to be selected and assigned shortcuts on the programs tab. Loving the ROM so far, thanks so much Abu. However, if I select MOTO Home, I cannot add any programs to the program buttons. In fact, when I select "all programs" or anything that would list the programs installed....there is a blank screen. If I go back to Touchflo all the programs are listed and are able to be selected and assigned shortcuts on the programs tab. Am i doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the MOTO home interface? Thanks for any light anyone can shed.

Yeah I think it is an issue with Motohome. Also cannot add anything to the RSS web updates tab. Is there a way to get the Date/Time on the Motohome home? Other than that this rom is excellent. Thanks!

In other ROM, Motohome was wrong. I hope ABU, ABU because the ROM is best. I'm sure you will find yourself adjusting to MOTOHOME. An explanation for someone who I personally consulted: the Climate page should put the code (eg Argentina Córdoba = SAM | AR | AR005 | CORDOBA

for everyone having issues with motohome etc.. go to the motohome thread.. there's i believe TWO OF them .. go find your answers there.... and read past posts, if someone else had the same question as u .. just wait patiently for someone to answer it.. don't keep re-asking about the same issue.... give people time to figure things out.. patience.. be grateful to even have the rom.

Thanks for fixing my issues abu the volume was way too loud before now I can adjust it fine where I like and the SMS time stamp bug is gone and the date thing was a little annoying to look at and that was also fixed. I am sure I can find another issue :P but now everything seems fine.

i am sure he meant getting rid of it ALL the way .. not just from the today screen... i would like that also, i would of loved v11 to not even include it in the first place... if anyone wanted it they could of used the cab file in the motohome thread and installed it... i despise motohome personally also so would love a way to remove ALL traces of it...

TPC posted the sword sounds.. all u got 2 do is download them .. and replace the ones on ur phone and voila.. u get the sword sound on ANY rom...

in the previous roms of abu there use to be a setting in phone settings that you can terminate the data connection when screen goes off?

and also i have seen quite a cool feature in the tpc rom. If you click on the battery icon and go to information it can tell you how long you have used your phone after the last recharge,etc

does anyone have the cabs / fixes for this?

Hello Abu! Congratulations again for your hardwork! Try to contact Twopumpchump because he also cooked the Motohome in his 23017 ROM build and Motohome works ok! Even if it is installed as a cab, afterwards, Motohome works ok ( i.e. allowing the customization of Favorite programs panel ). Maybe would be good to have a Full version ( Chome+Manilla+Motohome ) and a Abustyle version ( Chome + Manilla ) for those who dont like motohome interface.

Hi,

I love you're room's, you are the King. I have one proposal for future's room's.

First room will call Ultimate-X2.Vxx Basic (This room will be previous room with all big bugs fixed - for people who at the moment dont have time to play with new rooms and need stable room - for journey....)

Second and maybe third room will call Ultimate-X2.Vxx (Ultra,....) with all new things for people who always need something new things.

This is just my proposal, maybe will be good for us to have always one room without bugs.

I have been off the forum for a while adjusting to a new town, new job, etc. Came back today and found a new ROM with a new UI and a lot of folks asking questions. So, as I read through the 100 or so pages I missed while away, I find someone referencing the MOTOhome thread. So I learned a bit about where MOTO home came from, what the issues are and how to fix some (but not all) of them.

Thanks, a new v11 rom. :)

Please help me, I now install "Nav N Go iGo8" (8.3.2.96054), this is work fine, but is work, and i have incoming call, the Igo is exit, and the phone screen is cold.

And when restart phone, is booting and i press pin code, and few seconds later is stopped the Today screen without launching TouchFlo.
Some restart later this problem is repeat, only one method is help, when I HARD Reset.

Interesting when turn off phone, before start the IGO this navigation running fine, and after when i exit IGO, and turn on the phone, is running very good the TouchFlo.

Please help, what is may the problem?
I have tested some old Igo, and the problem is repeating. :(

I have the same problem with the overlapping appointments. Never had it before with other Ultimate V1 and V2 ROMS. I flashed stock Rom before this one, so i don´t think that is the problem.

Abu, this is the first one of your ROMs I've tried (V11) and it's great.... I was using Garmin's DK series before, but I think I've found a new favourite!!

There's a couple of things I've noticed (and yes, I've followed the instructions in post #1 :D).... not sure if anyone else has seen them, but a search of this thread didn't find anything?

1. Sometimes, dragging the scrollbars downwards makes the window scroll downwards instead of upwards :o If you take your finger/stylus off the scrollbar and then put it back on again, it scrolls correctly....
2. I set a PIN code on my phone (to stop my kids getting their hands on my phone and playing bubble breaker till the battery goes flat!). I used a simple PIN - 6 digits - but when I came to use the phone this morning, the PIN was not accepted. There was no error message or anything, but I entered the PIN and tapped the unlock button but nothing happened!! The phone stayed locked, even after a soft reset it still did not work and the only way out was a hard reset :(

I am now living without a PIN lock, for fear of not being able to get back into it.... I really don't want to have to hard reset and re-install everything when I wake up each morning!!

Any suggestions gratefully received - and keep up the great work!!

I was able to fix the overlapping calendar items by restoring the "HomeWidget" section of the HTCHomeSettings.xml file to what they were from v10. I've attached a file containing the settings, you can just edit the file in your Windows directory and replace the settings with the ones attached, then reboot or reload M2D.

This will move the date back up where it was and cause it to be obscured by the alarm status if you're using the long date format, but this will get you by until Abu figures something out. :-)

usually when connected/syncing to my pc, my outlook asks for my ms exhange password. This does not happend in this version, and may be why notes does not sync.

I upgraded to X2.V11, seeking to have CHROME / MANILA / MOTOHOME (all in one). I think you should try. If you replacing MANILA for MANILA 2.6, much better. I am willing to pay for it all. ABU, not desist. :D

Abu, great ROMK thanks for your effort!!

Just one thing, when you tap WIFI on and it detects some AP and then you cancel, you cannot turn it off, just keeping scanning and scanning for wireless network, until you reach a point without wifi network.

If anyone else has experience this too, let it know, or its just me.

V11 is running great so far! I really like the new M2D look. I skipped V10, by the way, so I don't know if this M2D version was in the last release. Just a couple of issues so far:

1. The version of CHome Editor I installed wasn't able to successfully enable plugins. A bit of an issue for me, since I disabled everything right off the bat to start from scratch. I'm pretty happy with the new M2D for now, though.

2. -SOLVED-

Aside from those minor issues, this release is running great! I'm quite impressed. Great job, Abz. I've been quiet and distracted for a while, but I'm still running your ROMs exclusively! Will continue to test.

Your ROM is functionally superior and has all the applications I need. It can be achieved.
CAB could also make the CHROME and review MOTOHOME shortcuts to work 100%.

Just wait a couple of minutes and they will appear, but meanwhile, the inbox will be very slow . . .

Maybe you could try going back to your previous rom restore them and use SPB backup. I have used this every time every different rom and it works flawless and since we flash all the time you never run out of trial. and it makes .exe backups so they also don't expire.

I had this problem a while ago with the v8 ROM i did a reflash. (first Stock ROM then Vxx) i did a PIM restore and the SMS history restored fine this time.

Does anyone know why if I have the key board slide open whenever I exit the txt msg screen the screen orientation changes. It's a little annoying if you text a lot that you have to keep opening/closing the slide to get it back to landscape mode. :confused:
