and something else, i forgot to mention earlier with regards to the messages crash issue.

I'd just received 2 texts whilst i replied to a previous text, when closing the open message to then open one of the new messages the phone crashed.
After a soft reset these two new, unopened messages had disappeared, and obviously had been received so are gone for good :(

i was having this exact same problem, i had to flash a different rom :( i can't wait until a few more bugs are worked out tho, shows a lot of promise :D

Great Rom as always. I have noticed the following so far:

The bluetooth icon missing on top when bluetooth is turned on.
Opal dialer is missing. It has the default 6.5 dialer.
Voice commander is missing. I am not sure if it was left off on purpose, or just a mistake. Eitherway it would be great if you could please add it back on V2.
I will continue testing and let you know if I notice other things.

All the programs are in the right folders. What your talking about is just the new menu style of 6.5. Takes awhile to get used to it. For others that are still having issues i would suggest flashing either 3.31 or 3.34 hardspl. Seems for the most part 6.5 really likes those spls. But when i first flashed this one i had gone back to 3.29 and had alot of issues. Since going back to 3.34 all issues are gone. Its fast and stable like all rezas roms are :D

OK. I installed some games but they don't show in the games folder like 6.1 ROMs I have used. I installed TCPMP and it's in the start menu and not multimedia like 6.1 ROMs. If this is a error then i'll reflash. Yeah 6.5's menu is very different.

What i did i went into the windows directory and found the wmplayer.exe copied sent shortcut to start menu using the program Resco Explorer but i think you can use Total Commander.
As for the dialer with the scrambled words its been like that since the first release of Windows Mobile 6.5

Is M2DC included in the ROM? I couldn't find it in the settings...

I'm also surprised this version doesn't have the big menu style (the ones which are easy to use with finger, like on Solace's ROM)... I tought it was the standard WM6.5 menu style? Is there some place I can change that in the settings?

Do you guys know how to send the music audio AUTOMATICALLY to bluetooth headset? I know you can use the trick by launching BTtoggle after the music has started. But how do I make it happen automatically?

So here is the problem. I push the button on BT headset to engage voice commander, then say "Play music, anything", it starts playing music, but on the speaker phone instead of transferring the audio to headset. Now I have to take the phone out again and run BTtoggle or BTon to transfer the musinc to BT headset. Do you guys know anyway to play the music on the BT headset automatically?

go to windows foldoer copy file wmplayer and past it as shortcut in

there is a freeware called BTMusic that you can install and when BT is on, start BTMusic and then you can have all your audio bits come through your Bt speakers. when you install BTMusic, just map it to a button or include it in your fav folder for easy access.

When you open m2dc the softkey tab. Change it back to htcactionscreen. It will set it like it was.

I'm very happy with this Rom, I rediscovered my Kaiser:

- With HTC and customs Roms WM6.1, I had bad issue with the Motorala S705 sound quality (cuts, crashes, bad sound quality, mono sound, low bandwith). With WM6.5, the quality of sound is excellent and powerfull.
- I installed Wow HD 121 instead of audio booster, I can boost the sound of the BT headset.
- I like weather icons of the M2D.

Questions:
- How to disable the auto discover when enable the BT?
- If my kaiser is in standby after a time, the BT is disabled, how to remove this function?

What i like about this rom is the actions menu. I went to start..settings...AE button plus and set it to show actions menu for button 6. Now when i press the PTT button i get that menu. It has a percent battery icon and when you click it you get nicely detailed battery info. Just wanted to point that out in case anyone wants to try it.

So you ran connection set up.

I had the same problem. turned on wifi collected my @live mail through wifi connection. Turned off wifi connected through GPRS and connected to my internet mail no problem. Some how it sorted it self out.

Not a solution , just telling you what I did.

Ok I have flashed V1 and changed my radio. I have question: My phone now charges faster through my usb cable then the wall charger. I mean the usb charges in about three hours where as the wall charger hasn't been able to get a full charge even leaving on all night. Is this a radio issue or is this how this ROM has been behaving? Never had this problem with any other rom or radio. Using radio 1.65.24.36

Do you mean the fps when you see it blury?
If so then open up Camera press power button for sleep wait 5-10 secs press power button.

Usually when i want to take a photo. i autofocus with half press(focus in 1s) then full press.

When its dark, half press(focus 5s), full press (2s to take pic)

Also, when i move left or right, its sooo slowwww.i think is fps issue

It's a possibility that it takes longer as the lighting is less so the AF finds it harder to pinpoint especially as it only Center AF.
Also may be better to put it to take pics on half press and make sure shutter sound is off.
Yep the second issue is the one tweak above "that will also make the AF very slow if not using tweak"

That's cool :) tend to leave everything as is regards settings, only use the phone Camera when really have to otherwise use DSLR "far more tweakable"

This cab is found on XDA forum, I install it and it works fine on my french TyTn2 Orange with this Rom. In settings, I open "WoW HD Settings" and I set the sound for headphones.
No registry tweak needed...

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd imagine if that makes your phone run slow there probably isn't a chief that wants to add that function for the very reason of slowing down the phone. I don't know anyone who'd want to sacrifice performance for something small like that....but it's just my opinion

I already fixed it by reflashing this ROM 2 times, and im not an idiot, I always hard-reset after flashing ;)

I have been running ultimate V18 (the hybrid) until you got this gem out. Thanks very much for the great work. I flashed earlier today and have been giving the ROM a workout.

I found one rather odd issue; I installed MSVC and can't find the control panel for it. In V18 (and a hundred other ROMs I have run) there is an icon for settings etc. I have checked every folder and can't find the bugger. I have been running ultimate V18 (the hybrid) until you got this gem out. Thanks very much for the great work. I flashed earlier today and have been giving the ROM a workout.

I found one rather odd issue; I installed MSVC and can't find the control panel for it. In V18 (and a hundred other ROMs I have run) there is an icon for settings etc. I have checked every folder and can't find the bugger. MSVC is there and it does accept voice commands but I can't set up which announcements or whether or not to announce calls.

If anyone has any thoughts on this I would be glad to hear them!

I dont use it and have never installed it. But with 6.5 i would think it should show up under start settings personal. Or even under just start. But check the other first.

Not under Start, settings, personal or anywhere else I can find. I can map the command key under buttons, but it doesn't appear in the programs list in M2D launcher... <scratches head>

weird, did you try hard resting? only think is if you have important information on your phone you will permanently lose all of that, but if you don't have anything important on you phone or it is all on a SD card than I would try hard resetting

Scrolls smooth as silk on here. Once you get it setup go into advanced config. Under performances disable file cache. Sit back and enjoy more ram with the same speed. You can set the glyph cach to 1 as i havent seen any difference with it.

Oh and for the sms issue not sure what to say. I have bee running this one since it came out. Not one issue. Maybe either reflash or run connection setup again. My info is in my sig....but same as most of you. And im a texting fool. So sorry but still searching for a answer for ya.:)

Reza doesn't add the time bomb, M$ does with all their betas, it is part of the build. :)

Flashing Stock will have adverse effect on anything.. Just do the same as you do when flashin..

For the folks having issues with finding MSVC settings, did you soft reset after installing? It should then be in Settings, Personal. And as for the timebomb I know in Anryl's kitchen he has something to remove it. Looking like a great ROM Reza!

this is so fast rom I've installed ever !!! :)
The only thing I need to resolve is to have a possiblility to switch between 3G mode on and off.
When switching by Advanced Config another Comm Managers none of these Comm Managers working beside the ON/OFF one.
But in ON/OFF Comm Manager the 3G function is not active, only showing the current status without possibility to switch it.

Ultimate X2: V.1 is Abusalza's latest 6.5 ROM.

I'm sure there will be many more versions to come but for now this is it. And after a few days of steady use, it is VERY stable and outperforms all of the 6.1 ROMs I have run.

Still loving this ROM, Abu. My favorite to date. I still don't have any problems, aside from the minor annoyance (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3846917&postcount=252) I addressed earlier regarding replies to new messages. One question, though:

You seem to have taken footprints out. Why? I realize I can just get the cab, but I was wondering why you removed it. It was one of the more interesting features I found in the Beta, as I hadn't previously acquired it, and since I work at a lot of different venues, I think it's a good way to remember where important places are.

Still by far the best ROM I've tried. Looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for us.

Regarding the silencing of incoming calls....have you tried Advanced Config, under Misc.? Abu has included on his newer 6.1 ROM's an option called "User preferred between HSUPA patched and Job Wheel fixed". This fixed the issue in his V5 WM6.1 ROM. I'm not sure if Adv. Config even works in WM6.5, but I thought this might be worth a shot.

Post back if this option is there and if it works because it's what is keeping me from flasing X2V1.

I was once a noob. No seriously, I tried it. The phone charges also. But I used the Advanced Config. and change some settings there as well. Under misc. I changed it so that active sync is enabled to run in the back ground and turn on all the power management options as was the setting of my old rom. I can't re-flash this thing (yet that is).

Just curious, but did you also make sure that ActiveSync is not running into the background of your computer? Sometimes, it happens to me that I had previously synced my phone, taken the phone off the USB cable while it was running and, when I put it back, it would not sync because AS was still running in the background of the computer.

If that is the case, just take the phone off the USB cable, open Task Manager and Open Processes on the PC, if AS is running, kill it and plug the phone back in...

Hopefully, it is as simple as that and you will be good to go... Hopefully...:(

Definately the wires or the phone. Swithing wires get AS to start or at least the phone to ask me what do I want to do AS in IS. Then i loose the connection. I'm guessing the wires or phone itself. It's old and been dropped a few times.

1 week with this ROM (before I used the Beta)

It works great on my Kaiser but I have issues:

- When idle I have bluetooth disconnection (The kaiser bluetooth power off) :confused:
- When I play music during few hours, the audiomanager increase size and eat the biggest part of the ram (16Mb free), I need to kill audiomanager.exe to retrieve 40Mb free and to avoid reset.
- M2D don't like screen rotation, if I open the keyboard before sms application, the screen doen't rotate...

Else, WM6.5 and M2D is perfect... Nice job! :)

You can try it but for the most part it seems that 6.5 likes either 3.31 or 3.34. As for radios same rules as any rom applies. Depends on your area and what works best for you.

Reza the chef and most of us users dont have the phones for it. Thats why its not included. Im not sure wich dialers work with 6.5 so just start searching for video dialers and try a few. But once you find one that works for you please post your findings so reza can post what works with his roms.

Yes, the battery is really good with this ROM. I've just up X1 V7 and it works fine also, just don't know if the battery is as good. When will we have X2 v2 Abu :)) (Sorry I always ask the same question, I am now addicted to your ROMs ;((

It happens the first time you transfer files to mobile with active sync after every flash. click ok and you should be good. What type of file are you moving?

OK here is all i can really offer.
1. Flash stock rom
2. Hard Reset
3. Flash x.2 v2
4. Hard Reset

Normally this works for those odd bugs. Might also want to redownload

Not sure if anyone else has told you but you can also try..start....settings...connections..usb to pc..uncheck enable faster transfer. sometimes that helps.

Reza also when i installed the titanium apps i use..titanium weather with radar V4.2 facebook and titanium notifications i couldnt scroll anymore. Everything was just jumbled. If i only installed facebook or weather same results. For some reason it just doesnt like my widgets. I bumped back to V1 for now until i get more time to check into it. But seemed like everything else was going good.

Thank you for your hlep, it is solved. I updated HardSPL 3,29 to 3,34, radio 1.65.24.36 to 1.71.09.01 and, of course, ROM to X2.V2 :). Now, I can change volume of phone call :D

Can you detail the fixed issues compared to the V1???

The wakeup doesn't work when phone is in flight mode because the system time is not updated, it's real problem for ne that use the GSM as wakeup!!!

Problem with BackLight Lock Level. I cant see anything on direct sunlight when phone is locked.
I tried to change value with AdvancedConfig to Always Bright - but it works only until next soft reset/boot. Any help?

Has anyone had this happen to them? I got a call from wifey today and, once we were finished, pressed the Red End key on the screen to end the call (or so I thought)... Afterwards, I went to check the phone and the phone icon was on the top bar. In checking, the call was still on... for 2 hours!:eek: Good thing I have over 5,000 rollover minutes...

Pressing the Red End key didn't do anything and using the hardware button didn't either. I had to soft reset to end the call. Anyone experience this before, this is the first time I have seen this...:confused:

I've had this problem several times. It happened even before I flashed any of these ROMs. I blamed mine on having an original Tilt(maybe the chips are crapping out). Buddy of mine bought his about three months later and it does everything faster. I haven't found a solution to this because it has happened on three different SPLs and five radios and ten ROMs.:confused:
