Hallo,
first I must say that I never cooked a rom so I'm a Rom-virgine :D
I want to edit the original 2.03 GER Rom from HTC.
I Installed XBmod Manila Rhodium but after installation there is no free Memory, so I must cook a ROM by myself. TouchFlow3D is the only thing I want to change.
Can anybody give me a link to a tutorial where I can read everything about Rom-Cooking.
I nee a kitchen... which, where I can find?
Which files to edit...
I hope somebody can spend me some minutes to help a nooby ^^

On my Diamond with cab installation everything works fine.
Where can I get a 2100+ build? I need a GER version.

Go to www.htc-developers.de. It's a German forum and there you can find a kitchen with a 21042 ROM and SYS. But currently the site seems to be down ...

Hey, nice to see some people really trying to learn and not only: "can you do it for me?" ;)
Here's the easiest way i found to start cooking, it's a really simple kitchen, with it you can dump any open rom and there's also a great video tutorial:

And here's i nice post by Suiller explaining a little about some Manilla OEM's, what files you will need, etc...

Good luck man! If you have problems, just pm-me and i'll do my best!:D

In the Diamond ROM development section, look up the thread 'noob kitchen'. It's a thread where I and a few others help(ed) each other out to get started to cooking.
I posted a link there with a few packages and my entire ROM kitchen with what I ended up with, including my RhodiumManila packages.
Drop me a note on how to get going _after_ you've done at least a few test cooks and/or reading that thread for a bit :).
If you're as far that you can dump the original 2.03 HTC ROM, and remove a few things, recook it and flash it: then you're just a few steps away from adding RhodiumManila to it :)
