The best way to treat a freshly landed new member is to point him to the right direction, that's to say the search function, but with words, not flaming websites :).

I understand that telling a Newbie to Google something is the spirit of "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day... Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime." so you better learn patience if you want to stay in this game for the long haul... You will be telling folks to Google things for many years to come.
