Receive appointments via SMS?

Today after I arrived at work, I realized that I'd left my phone at home. The horror! :( And it occurred to me that it'd be nice, since I can't sync up tomorrows appointments that I've gotten today, if I could send special SMS's to myself and add appointments to my calendar.

They could be automated, or prompted, doesn't really matter. But importing them into the calendar vs them just being a reminder would be nice.

Thats a very nice idea, but what about expanding it so that you can also invite people by sending an SMS to there phone with the appointment, though in all honesty they would have to have a WM phone, or you would have to create software for all phones, but still a nice idea :)
And i think the invite via SMS would be a cool function.
