Problem with bluetooth all roms 6.5

hey everyone i tried all wm6.5 roms for rw68x8 .. and all gave the same results.
The beam bluetooth doesnt work. i can recieve and can pair devices. But can never get device to appear in the beam screen. It just shows searching. i used official rom from hp and it works. and also 6.1. But not 6.5.

The weird thing is..it works with resco explorer , i can send files and detect other bluetooth recipients through resco but not the official bluetooth beam from wm6.5.

Anybody have a solution to this help would greatly appreciated.

I am using Beta 7 of WM6.5 found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=490978). No bluetooth problem with this. It works like a new phone with manufacturer rom.

Did you try beta 7 as yet?

sorry for disappointed mate,but the rom is for atom life only.you may brick your phone if you try to flash it in.

I've the same problem above. But I can paired the device such as Stereo bluetooth headset. It's appere in the paired list but it not connected to device. Any one got the same problem like me? :confused:

Hi there, I have O2 Atom Life bought in India.

It seems there is bit confusion about winmobile 6.1 and 6.5. I have installed almost all ROMS in both versions and I agree that there was some extent bluetooth problem in most PDAVIET 6.1 ROMS, but after trying out 6.5 I have noticed that BLUETOOTH WORKS PERFECTLY FINE IN ALL 6.5 VERSIONS.

Please be sure that you are using ROMS for exact models. I mean if ROM is released for ATOM LIFE then use it only on Atom Life. If ROM is for ATOM PURE then use it for Atom Pure only. If its for HP iPAQ 6815/6818/6828 then use it for same models of HP only.

Though all are Windows Mobile that does not mean ROMS will work on each, because hardware device drivers are very important parts of these ROMS which are made for specific make and models only.

I REPEAT, THERE IS NO BLUETOOTH PROBLEM WITH 6.5 ON ATOM LIFE AS THIS THREAD IS ONLY FOR ATOM LIFE.

The latest Light 6.5 Beta 8UC 21222 version is simply superb and fast and battery stays for at least two days with all basic operations and calls done. Great Rom...

i posted this THREAD as a HP user not an ATOM user. And yes THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH BLUETOOTH ON ALL WM6.5 ROM INSTALLED ON A HP IPAQ RW6828/6818. BECAUSE I TRIED ALL ROMS FOR RW6828 AND IT DOESNT WORK. THANKS!! AND NO! I DID NOT USE ATOM ROM ON MY HP IPAQ RW6828!

Sorry its my mistake to say ATOM LIFE, I actually meant ATOM. Please see the forum category once again, it clearly says...

Now I think you are in wrong thread. Though ROMS released for Atom can be tasted on HP-iPAQ (At your risk) you cannot say "THIS IS THREAD FOR HP". I totally disagree. :p

Many Atom ROMS may behave erroneous on HP iPAQ due to feature differences, like ATOM LIFE does not have in-built GPS hardware, which means GPS wont work on GPS models of HP iPAQ (if any) if same ROM is used on HP.


Better you ask moderators before saying this is HP iPAQ section and not a ATOM section. See category at top once again. Thanks.
