Hi Everyone,

i have a big problem. the hardware of my touch diamond is a little bit broken. that means i can't use the on/off-button anymore. the problem is that it is hard to turn the device on or off now. so my idea was o change the usage off the hardware buttons in the registry. do you think that this is possible? i would like to use the volumeUp-button as the on/off-button. i don't want a program, i really need to change it in the registry. so the device really think that i push the on/off-button i i us the volumeUp-button.

i hope that you can help me. thanks a lot.

Unfortunately that is not possible.
You can change a setting in Windows Mobile that the phone awakes on any hardware key press, but probably that is not handy too.

Your phone will also awake when taking out the Stylus. You can consider using StylusLock or TouchLockPro. The latter can use the NavSensor for going to sleep/power off. Powering on, is a problem though. The Stylus is then the only option (or the Windows Mobile setting to awake on any hardware button).
