GPRS/HSDPA keeps reconnecting

I use the latest PDAVIET ROM, and for some reason it keeps reconnecting the data connection, even after switching the data connection off in the Comm Manager.

I know I can use NoData, but I just want to spare my battery by preventing unnecessary data transfer.

How can I find out which program or process or setting is reconnecting?

you can exp with killing running programs and check when it stops

a program like take fring reenable the data connection if it's turned off

by killing programs i mean in settings -> mem
or by using one of the task managers

I think I've found it, it was not an app running in the background. Activesync was by default set to sync when items arrive. I've changed it to manually, and it seems to work...
