i flashed hardSpl .... and lost camera ...

also flashed all possible radios, rom's etc ...

fixed ... with ORIGINAL ROM, v3.13.405.0 WWE
(original was German, i wanted to change language)

definatly, it's problem with camera driver in cooked rom's.

more experienced people, please check it out, there is something
in original rom, that you didnt copied .... or maybe SPL problem ?

real thing .... get it :

as a serial use (faked serial) : HT822GE12555

change RED letter to :
1 - for German
2 - English WWE
3 - French
4 - Dutch
6 - English WWE
9 - German

i dunno why some doubles ....

but anyway it works ...

Seems not to be working for me with french and WWE ROM.

Tests :
1/ Flash with _HTC Touch FRA_3.13.406.0
Test camera => KO :(

2/ HardReboot
Test camera => KO :mad:

3/ Same test with 405 WWE

Always have the problem "Unable to capture photo. Unable to get frame data from camera device" :(

definatly, it's problem with camera driver in cooked rom's.I've never had a camera problem with cooked ROMs.........

Sorry guys, but IMO this is completely bulls..t :rolleyes:

Thousands of users use cooked roms with various radio roms
(which fit to the OEM drivers of course) and have no problems
with camera. I think none of the pros have changed anything
in the camera drivers from genuine OEM. So why should a camera
driver in a cooked rom should be different from a stock rom? :confused:

I just bought polaris (my second) and I must confirm this strange problem...with custom ROMs, camera simply does not work. Shipped ROM is OK...will try to investigate more...
