Atom V rom cooking

Anyone interested in helping me out? I just got a Atom V because my faithful HTC Hermes finally called it quits (R.I.P.). I noticed no1 has taken a shot at cooking up any roms or even porting windows 6.1 for the Atom V! I figure that is because of it being newer and less available than other phones.

Just let me know about any help you can give me (kitchens, formats, etc). I figure this will be my summer project. Anyone who helps will be first-in-line when it comes time for beta testing.

Personally i bought it off from someone and its disappointing me now.

I'll tell u the updates as of what i have now.
1) Upgraded the rom ver1.25 (DAWN_RC_0425_20596_UpgradeTool_ENG) from the mwg site but it seems to have problems. This updates it to V2.05.96 but i wanna get back the prev update. (aflak08: do backup the rom before u upgrade to this. Cos this is the start of my wifi problems. Btw, if you have the current rom, can pass it to me? I need wifi :( )

2) WIFI connection becomes crazy! i cant connect it at all now after. sometimes its "unavailable" and sometimes there's no wifi options. This sucks!
Even with activesync, i cant access the internet.

3) Cpu config is not seen anywhere (unless you install pointui then your able to see that option) This option is very much needed as you won't be able to know at what speed your processor is running cos there's three options: 200hz, auto or 520hz.

So if you do have any to bring up do share. Looking forward to your update. :)

Found this to be useful. after checking. my wifi mac is all 00 00 00 00 . argh!

Wifi really is wild with this phone. I have a long set of steps (and registry hacking) I take every soft reset to re-enable it. I'm going to try to integrate this into a start up type of application though to make our lives easier...
