samsung i607 conecting step by step guide

i have an i607 and it handed wen i went on gprs for browsing.i try to flashed it wid
SGH-i607 WM6 Upgrade
i also have active sync and its modem drivers all r perfectly installed but wen i try to conect the fone i saw the following on screen

USB Initial: OK
PC Connection: Fail
[Phone] Active OFF
[PDA] USB Cable Power OFF

how to solve my problem.plz some body help me

Yes. You can upgrade with all any ROMs for i607
1. Windows XP
2. Change connect menu: Setting--> connection--> USB-> change to Modem: Computer receive information modem mode for Boot ROM in the next step
3. Turnoff and turnon to Boot mode. and plug USB cable and UP ROM
