Unlocked Touch Cruise questions... [Archive]

I recently picked up a unlocked Touch Cruise (polaris), and was curious if I can tell if it has had HardSPL installed and if it is CID unlocked. When I start it up, it shows Radio 1.58.32.33, Rom 1 3LIT3. Under the device info section, it shows The Rom version as 3LIT3_V_Full WWE. Isn't that a cooked ROM?

That's a cooked rom for sure (read the 'Polaris upgrading etc.'-page) so it must have HardSPL and it must be CID-unlocked. But what do you mean by 'picked up'? Do you mean that there's somewone who is lost his Polaris? If so I would return it to the owner.

LMAO....My sis bought it off ebay when her Blackberry Pearl died. She didn't like it, so she bought a replacement Pearl off fleabay. I gave my Hermes to my nephew, and she gave me the Cruise...

ok, I'm using the 3LIt-3 V full version to, pretty satisfied. Maybe you wanna flash it to another one. Before flashing look here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=476699).
