First Post - been a lurker, finally signed up.
Got a 6900, first thing I did was unlock with CoKe 2.31
next, radio 3.42.50
didnt allow any customizations to run
Then flashed with NFS 1.13
Works great, love the rom but......
No Gps. the radio that came on the phone was 1x. I have read through a ton of posts regarding all the various trials and errors getting the gps to work. has anyone RESOLVED the issue? Everything went smooth and everything else on the phone works great....did I just run a bad combination of radio and rom? Thanks in advance.

Radio and ROM should be fine, but 2 questions first though
1 - What carrier are you on?
2 - In your reference to GPS, are you actually attempting locks on JUST GPS or do you have a data plan with your carrier for a faster aGPS/GPS lock?
No data plan, no aGPS though GPS will still work it will take a long time to get any locks

carrier - vzw.
specific gps plan (like vznavigator) no. regular data plan - yes.
Phone doesnt show a PRI at bootup.
on the left, I have M 03 and B 01
on the right, DCAAXOM-4350H
R: 3.42.50
D: 3NFS
I'll read the linked thread regarding PRI. Thanks -

OK, also go read the FAQ posted HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508544) that is built around NFSFANs ROM and has lots of info on fixing the GPS issues directly with VZW users

Nevermind....it works. I just had to let it sit for a good 15 minutes under clear skies to get it to go.
If its any use to anyone, I didnt need any registry hacks, installation of different gps apps, nothing.
My 6900 out of the box had a 1.x radio in it. I let initial customizations run and activated the phone.
I unlocked with Coke 2.31
threw in the Bell 3.42.50 radio
and then flashed w/ NFS 1.13. Opened GPSViewer, and got red satellite dots. Opened Google maps and just let it sit. It took forever, but finally it hooked up. Works like a champ. I was just being impatient...my bad. Let it sit for a painfully long time and it'll link up.

I posted this in another thread, this is what I did compiling different methods to get GPS to work, and this here works for me.. every now an then I might get bouts of 30-60mins not working but normally it works.. sometimes 1min to get a lock, sometimes 5-10.. but once its on it tends to stay and be on point
This guy has the right idea here ---> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36377
I had been searching for WEEKS.. I'm freshly in my NFS6.5 V7 with no customizations ran other than NFS's, I went and did what the guy said at ppc geeks, except I didn't install the gps registry cab he tells you to..
In both QPST and the registry [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\SUPL AGPS] I did this
PDE IP Address = 66.174.95.132
PDE Port Number = 8888
(Only QPST)PDE Transport = IP
(Only QPST)Position Calculation = mobile
with GPSMode: 4
shit works beautifully..
in google maps i DONT let it automatically find GPS, i put it to com4 4800..
i get about 5-6 active, occasionally going upwards around 7-8 but no more, works for me
although im currently looking for another gps program to use, google maps isnt bad but i wanna see if theres better free ones out there, if anyone has suggestions please let me know

Did you let the customizations run when you first turned on the phone? If so then that is your problem.
