Works on QVGA. With the .14 version, I had trouble getting the app to run after running it once. (A soft reset was needed.) It runs perfectly for me now. :D

Same here but on WVGA (Touch HD). The only thing i don't know if it's ok or not is that the info that i see in my "home - news feed" or "wall profile" on my mobile phone it's only some of the entry's i can see on www.facebook.com home-news feed ...or even different ones....when using m.facebook.com it's like a "middle" situation as i can see more entry's than on my phone but not all that appears on the full site....it's kind of an inconsistent experience but i think that's another topic...

And in my case messages still don't work in this version.
Autosave user and password still don't work.

.16 on WM6.1 over Samsung Omnia Hardware:

autosave pass works, but all drop down menus don't display. I can't also EXIT the program (probably cos EXIT is inside the MENU dropdown) and have to terminate the process to end it.

Seems to work perfect on CDMA QVGA HTC touch runing stock WM 6.0.. no issues I can see yet.. vary fast and nice interface.. but ill end up still just using tha browser mostly :D

I have installed the 0.16 ita but the application is closed after 4", has omnia wm 6.1.
I premise that I had installed the version Facebook_WM6.5_Ita of salvy.c.83 is worked perfectly.

apps seems to work on my sprint moto q9c, but the fonts are messed up. seems to be displaying wing dings or something similar. any ideas?

nrice, you need to reboot your phone.

and the program works and installs fine on my Motorola Q9C ... but it still seems to "cache" or "load" forever on the homescreen... I guess I just need to let it do its thing?

I really want this program to work.

Yeah it seems to load for a long time on the the Inbox screen as well. It's got the little spinning windows logo and it's just cranking along. I'm not even sure if it's doing anything, my status indicator says that EVDO is being used, so I can only assume it's slowly caching.

I am liking this update and from my experience of using it, I think that a few things have improved greatly.

When I used 0.14 it was slow on loading the tabs (home, profile, friends etc), it did not download any messages at all when I clicked the mail tab, it just kept on showing the loading icon, I left it for about half an hour once and it never loaded any messages. When I clicked the phonebook tab it loaded up the list of my friends with phone numbers but when I scrolled down the list it would judder or go back to the top of the list.

In 0.16 the tabs load up much quicker, they seem more responsive and smooth, it has downloaded just a small fraction of my mail, it has grabbed 25 messages but I have over 1000 in my inbox! But then again there could be a limit onto how many it downloads? I'm not sure. Nevertheless this is an improvement, the phonebook tab also now works and scrolls fine. The things that are still bad and need work is the time it takes to refresh things like news feed, status updates etc and the time it takes to load up photos and albums.

Overall I think it's a good improvement over the last version, as said above the only gripes I have with it are the loading times but I'm sure this will get ironed out in future versions. I don't think I will be using the app all the time just yet as I tend to use Facebook through Opera but I will be using it a bit more than 0.14 I think.

My phone is the Touch HD and thanks to the original poster for the upload!

I don't know where is the problem, in my touch dual it works fine, I've only edit the lang file (mui) into the cab, probabily in your samsung, zibilce dll doesn't work, use my previous version, at this moment i've not noticed substantial differences

For me there were absolutely no improvements from 0.14, also that one was working perfectly.

Does anyone know if we can expect a working Chat Function (Not Messages but "live" chat) in a future version? And is there a possibility to see the new notifications (which are marked as a red arrow in the lower right corner on the Facebook page on PC)?

I've worked on 2 different facebook applications and there is something you guys have to understand: Facebook is EXTREMELY hard to work with. Their API is very limited and controlled. Not to mention, they constantly change their API which breaks a lot of things.

You cannot compare this application to the iPhone's or Blackberry. Those were written BY FACEBOOK and have much better funtionality because of it.

Be patient, I'm sure we will have a full functioning version soon. For Facebook chat, the best app I have found is Palringo. It does everything.

I'm not too sure on that but for now there are standalone Facebook chat applications, there's one from Mosko Mobi which is quite good and I use it often.

I've got this working on a Samsung Epix (320x320). The Auto Pass doesn't work; but the app seems to be ok. 0.14 worked just as well on the Epix as well. while the auto pass thing is annoying, the fact that it works is very encouraging.

The new update seems to work fine on my iPAQ 111, WM 6.0.

I only miss the chat feature like the iPhone - iPod touch version.

For all it's worth:
- Works with HTC Diamond Win6.5 SONE build
- Appears 'snappier' but this may be subjective
- Name of the app shows as "Microsoft Facebook" instead of "PPC Geek Facebook" in 0.14
- The inbox doesn't hang, it eventually grabs the messages

Ive tried the Mocoso thing and it worked fine but obviously it would be best to have all the stuff in a single app ;)

Edit: Im running it on a HTC Touch HD (Blackstone) with Dutty's V3 ROM and its working perfectly - fullscreen. Just fyi ;)

Works great on HTC Diamond now. The previous version i had installed, .14, wouldn't show my wall the way it should, it would only show the first 3 things. Now it shows everything from comments to pictures and what not.

If you have a diamond with .14 get this version.

v0.14 and v0.16 installed in different paths. And v0.16 does not un-install or overwrite v0.14. The shortcut link is also different.

If you installed v0.14 before and didn't un-install it, likely you are still runningn v0.14. That's why it shows 0.14 in About. Please un-install it before install a new version.

After install v0.16, I notice that its mui is under Windows directory. I move it to Program Files\Facebook\. Then, all the text comes out!

Perhaps becouse this app is made for wm 6.5 wich has kinetic scrolling available in the rom. 6.1 has no kinetic scrolling apart from htc's touchflo, so is it the compatibility between facebook app and microsofot of between facebook and htc? You tell me?

When I installed this on my Tytn II (6.1) it loaded fine but the various pages keep flashing as if it's refreshing the page every 2 seconds ... ???

Just popped in to inform people that the official version was out (I discovered it via wmpoweruser.com) only to see that people are already in the know!

Seems to run a little smoother but the kintic scrolliing still isn't hot; nowhere near as good as the honeycomb start menu and the like and definitely nowhere near as good as the latest HTC Album from the Rhodium/Topaz ROMs.

I'm running it on an HTC Touch HD btw.

I'm having the same issue. Tried reinstalling several times with no success.

(edit: device is an HTC Fuze with the latest stock ROM installed)
