Hey now. :cool:
Here I go again posting the newest release of GMM which I do because you can't download the damn thing unless you've rolled back to the old PIE which I did for this purpose alone. It's called 3.0.1.6, similar in numerical overtones to the last one, 3.0.1.5, but the last number is a notch higher which means, well, I don't know what it means because I can't find any damn release notes. Don't even know when was released -- sometime between ten minutes ago and last Sunday. Since I'm adding another thread, might as well throw you a Stevie Ray Vaughn lick I cut up with Sound Recorder.
Google, if you're listening, and this goes for the rest of you developers here, would it kill you to add apptodate support (http://www.modaco.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=267098&view=findpost&p=887050) to your software? C'mon fellas!

@fards:
Only recall seeing Latitude in 3.0.1.4 - wasn't looking "too hard" for StreetView, Walking Directions, or the Contacts context menu. Had the video not been on their website, I would not have bothered with this version.
Good thing d0ugie staying on top of these things.

Yes, the previous version has Street Maps and Walking Directions, well as Transit, etc.
I haven't seen the changelog for this particular version yet, it's never real obvious how to find. I looked at the Google Mobile blog and there's nothing there except iPhone yammering.

Should work on any device. I place it in the Raphael OEM Repository as I am not aware of a *central* repository for the XDA community ... doesn't mean there isn't one, I just don't know about it. :rolleyes:
The Raphael OEM repository is divided into two sections - one for Legacy Kitchen (PkgToolsBuildOS) and one for the new Visual Kitchen.

it may be something else causing it, but 3016 does appear to be rendering streetview a bit quicker than 014
