HTC Touch P3450 No Signal

Hi, just bought the above phone yesterday pre owned. Never had a phone with windows on it before. I had no problems at all yesterday, but when I turned it on this morning, no signal! Turned it off and on, even removed battery. I don't know why but thought it might help. I've googled problem, and I think it might be to do with the phone settings, but can't find settings that there talking about. Please help as I don't want to return this phone. Thanks.

Might not be a phone problem but could be a sim card problem. U tried removing it and cleaning the card and contacts?

You also dont mention if its using original htc rom or a cooked one? If cooked then maybe the radio version is not suitable for your location?

Removed and cleaned sim, uses original htc rom. Still no signal. worked fine yesterday, turned on this morning and no signal! Never changed any settings.:confused:

check settings and see if band settings are coorect. In stead of using 3g try normal gprs to see if that makes any difference.

If not, hard reset, is only way of knowing if hardware related. Just back up contacts, messages etc using PIM backup before hand. Do a full backup with your backup software also, just incase.
